Reviews
We were there a few days ago with our cat. At 17, he's already quite an old gentleman. He was there for a check-up after a necessary surgery. Another surgery is being considered. However, I got the impression that they were very thorough and didn't rush into any operations. At his age, surgery is always a delicate balancing act. It was my first time there, and I felt well-informed and given good advice.
Our dog, Bona, had to be put down on June 14th. Dr. AnnemĂŒller came home and said a loving goodbye to our pet. Since I didn't want to spend the whole time crying over Bona, making the farewell even harder for her, the three of us chatted. She fell asleep peacefully to the sound of the lapping water. A truly heartfelt thank you, Dr. AnnemĂŒller!
When it really matters, you're NOT in good hands here. We were always satisfied with vaccinations and minor issues, especially with Ms. Lözzer, who was always competent. I also have nothing negative to say about the veterinary assistants. However, we will never come back. The employed veterinarian was unable to clearly diagnose atrial fibrillation on our dog's ECG. Furthermore, we described his behavior over the past few weeks. Without a diagnosis, she simply said, "If he collapses again, it's really serious." My only saving grace was that I work as a specialist in diabetology within the internal medicine department, and my colleagues are cardiologists. I showed my boss a video of the ECG that I had recorded. One look, and he said, "That's quite clear, he has atrial fibrillation." A second veterinary opinion was needed â another vet diagnosed atrial fibrillation in 4 seconds... immediate chest x-ray... immediate medication... I can only confirm what at least two other clients have written... a lot of money for nothing. Lots of talk and all the other things that could be done... we wasted 10 days... I hope this review helps others. Perhaps it will give Ms. Lözzer something to think about, and maybe an ECG training course for her young colleague for Christmas. It can save the lives of furry friends â you just have to know what you're doing!!!
Dr. Lözzer is very kind and has always given us excellent advice and treated our animals superbly. We have a female bulldog, and before we went to Dr. Lözzer, we were at other vets who were always rather apprehensive around our dog. That's so frustrating! Dr. Lözzer isn't at all intimidated by our bulldog, and she's actually quite timid in her office đ. That puts both me and my dog ââat ease. The veterinary assistants are also fantastic. And if you have an appointment, you're seen at the scheduled time â unless it's an emergency. Great vet, great team â highly recommended!
