As a bird owner, it's reassuring to know that my birds are in the best hands at the Essen Pigeon Clinic. I was particularly impressed by the quick and professional care they provide in emergencies. The entire team (from the lovely and friendly receptionists to the incredibly competent veterinarians) is not only top-notch in their field but also very empathetic. I have complete trust in this clinic. Thank you to the whole team ❤️ Update: My sweet cockatiel, "Limon," has sadly passed away. I'd like to reiterate my review: Dr. Schreiber took excellent care of my little parrot and went above and beyond. He and Dr. Peus were able to give Limon a few more happy and joyful months through several procedures. Thanks to these two veterinarians, we were even able to take Limon on a short vacation to the Allgäu region, where he clearly had a wonderful time. A huge thank you also to the ladies at reception who comforted us several times when we were in tears during the procedures and emergencies… Thank you to the entire team ❤️

‼️ Not just for pigeons ‼️ Your bird (from small to large) will receive the help it needs here. Two bird specialists work here. People come from far and wide to have their birds treated. 👍🏽 Many years ago, my local vet recommended I take my canary to the Pigeon Clinic so it would receive the best possible treatment. 👍🏽 I'm still grateful to him for that. 👍🏽🙏🏽 Since then, I only go to the *Pigeon Clinic* for my birds. Large parking lot and waiting room available. 👍🏽

Two weeks ago, a budgie unexpectedly came into my life. After a lot of research on how to give him a good life, I was recommended a check-up at this clinic. I called yesterday and, after a very friendly conversation, went there today. A very pleasant experience, a competent impression, and little waiting time, even though that shouldn't really matter. I'll be back and can highly recommend it.

Before our first visit, I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to take my mouse home again. But she was in the best hands, and I was so relieved. Now she only has 1.5 wings left... so she's not quite in one piece anymore 😅 but she's doing really well! I also thought it would be more expensive than it actually was. I would recommend this place to anyone who might have an accident.
