I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Tim Schreiber and the Essen Pigeon Clinic! My cockatiel had injured her foot, and other veterinarians thought she would have to be put down. Instead, Dr. Schreiber gently put her foot back into place – now she's doing really well again! You can see how much experience, compassion, and patience he has. Highly recommended!

As a bird owner, it's reassuring to know that my birds are in the best hands at the Pigeon Clinic in Essen. I was particularly impressed by the prompt and professional care in emergencies. The entire team (from the kind and friendly ladies at the reception desk to the extremely competent doctors) is not only highly qualified but also very compassionate. I trust this clinic completely. Thank you to the entire team ❤️ Update: My sweet cockatiel "Limon" has sadly passed away. I would like to reiterate my review: Dr. Schreiber cared for my little parrot intensively and made a tremendous effort. He and Dr. Peus were able to give my Limon a few more beautiful and joyful months of happiness through several procedures. Thanks to the two doctors, we were even able to take Limon on a short vacation to the Allgäu region, where he obviously had a great time. A huge thank you also to the ladies at reception who comforted us several times when we were brought to tears during procedures and emergencies... Thank you to the entire team ❤️

A fantastic alternative to treatment at a "regular" vet. The name is a little misleading, as they treat not only pigeons but also all kinds of pet birds! The vets' expertise and friendliness are particularly noteworthy. The same goes for the receptionist! Highly recommended!

Two weeks ago, a budgie unexpectedly came into my life. After a lot of research on how to give him a good life, I was recommended a check-up at this clinic. I called yesterday and, after a very friendly conversation, went there today. A very pleasant experience, a competent impression, and little waiting time, even though that shouldn't really matter. I'll be back and can highly recommend it.
