I recently had to have my German Shepherd, Kantor, euthanized by Dr. Heiko Radermacher. This doctor is a fraud. I had to pay 460 euros even though my beloved dog wasn't cremated. He was simply euthanized and taken away. I will never go to this supposedly excellent doctor again. He just rips people off. This bill is far too high.

At first, the vets were very nice. I brought in my cat, whose eye was constantly watering. I told the vet it had been like this for over a month. He said she had injured her eye and needed medication. We bought it for her. After three months, it hadn't improved, so I went back. I was prescribed the same medication for another three months. When it still hadn't gotten better, we went back again. Again, the same medication. Then we went to a clinic. They confirmed a herpes virus in her eye. The prescribed medication had only made it worse and dried out her eye (according to a specialist in feline ophthalmology). She said it should have been detected and treated much sooner, and that the medication was simply a waste of money (as I said, these were the words of a vet). My cat subsequently lost the eye because it had been treated for months with the wrong medication (several different ones). No thanks, and NEVER AGAIN!

Dr. Heiko Radermacher, DVM, is fantastic and the best vet I know, but the other vet isn't good. What happened two years ago? I once had a German Shepherd named Nigel, and after a while, he stopped defecating and was in pain. Unfortunately, Dr. Radermacher wasn't available, so the other vet took over. After the ultrasound, she said he had cancer, which was why he couldn't defecate. I said, "But maybe he has something in his stomach that's blocking the passage to the intestines." She said that nothing could be seen in the intestines. (It's obvious that if the entrance to the intestines is blocked, the food collects in the stomach, and nothing can be seen there!) I said, "Please call Dr. Radermacher; he'll tell you the same thing." She didn't want it, so I was left with only two options: either euthanasia or finding another vet (I didn't know any others back then, which is different now). Over the last two years, I've spoken with several veterinary clinics, and everyone told me it sounded like an intestinal obstruction! It still bothers me that a vet who just wanted to be right at all costs simply refused. I'm 100% sure that Mr. Radermacher would have operated on him and investigated what was going on, but the vet wouldn't. Since then, I've steered clear of her! RIP my poor Nigel, you didn't have to go so soon.
