Reviews
I took my cats to this practice about 10 years ago. Whether doctor or nurse, everyone is kind and very competent. Above all, I was very satisfied with the palliative care I received and felt well looked after.
Dr. Heiko Radermacher, med. vet., is great and the best I know, but the doctor there isn't good. What happened 2 years ago?: I once had a German Shepherd named Nigel, and after a while, he couldn't poop anymore and was in pain. Unfortunately, Mr. Rademacher wasn't there, so the doctor took care of my dog. After the ultrasound, she said he had cancer and that's why he couldn't poop anymore. I said, "But maybe he has something in his stomach that's blocking the way to the intestine." She said you can't see anything in the intestine. (It's obvious that if the entrance to the intestine is blocked, the food collects in the stomach and you can't see anything there!) I said, "Please call Mr. Radermacher, he'll tell you the same thing." She didn't want to, so my only options were either to put him down or find another doctor (I didn't know any others, which is different these days). I've talked to veterinary clinics over the past two years, and everyone told me it sounded like an intestinal obstruction! It still bothers me to this day that a doctor who simply wanted to be right at all costs simply refused. I'm 100% sure that Mr. Radermacher would have operated on him and looked at what was going on, but the doctor didn't want to. Since then, I've been giving her a wide berth! Rip, my poor Nigel, you shouldn't have gone so soon.
My dog Olive needed help and received so much more than that. She was examined with love, empathy, and so much patience, and I received all the necessary advice on how to proceed with her treatment. Thank you so much! You guys are amazing! 🤩😍🐶
