We recently took our mare there because of an erupted molar and we are more than satisfied! Dr. Nowak himself is very kind and took a lot of time to advise and explain everything to us in detail. The team is also very friendly and takes excellent care of the horses. The atmosphere is generally very calm and relaxed, which is especially great for sensitive horses! We were also kept informed both before and after the procedure, which was very reassuring. Definitely recommended!

During our Icelandic mare's annual routine check-up, eight cavities were suddenly discovered on six of her molars, and a seventh tooth had already broken as a result—a shocking discovery for us. Our veterinarian recommended Dr. Nowak in Meerbusch, as he is the best in this field. Even though Meerbusch is a 6.5-hour drive away, it was definitely worth it: from scheduling the appointment (at very short notice) to the follow-up consultation—everything went smoothly, was uncomplicated, and the dentist was very friendly. We regularly received photos or short morning videos of our little darling at the breakfast buffet, which was absolutely adorable. It's worth mentioning that the fillings are very demanding because the work has to be extremely meticulous and clean, which is a real challenge in a horse's mouth. We are now very happy with the saved teeth and hope they last a long time. Dr. Nowak was also very accommodating with the price, which eased some of our worries as a veterinary practice. If we ever have another horse with dental problems, we would go straight back to Dr. Nowak. Many thanks to Dr. Nowak and his team!

I would always go back here for dental problems. My equine dentist recommended Dr. Nowak when my horse needed two molars removed. Dr. Nowak took the time to conduct his own assessment and then had a detailed one-hour phone consultation with me, during which he took a complete medical history and explained his assessment of the findings. Ultimately, my horse was able to keep his teeth on the doctor's advice, as he found a solution that my horse can live with very well without major surgery and the inevitable consequences of tooth extraction. He really took the case seriously, listened to my concerns, and ultimately found the best solution for my horse. I would also like to commend his impeccable handling of even "difficult" horses. My horse is somewhat distrustful of strangers, especially if they want something unpleasant from him, and can become quite aggressive in such situations. However, there were no problems with him during his stay at the clinic. During the follow-up appointment a few days ago, I was able to observe firsthand how calmly Dr. Nowak interacted with my horse and took his time until my horse was ready. This isn't always the case, so I'm all the more grateful that my horse was truly listened to here, instead of simply rushing through the treatment. I also appreciated Dr. Nowak's thorough explanations, which he provided during visiting hours and again when I picked up my horse. He also gave me daily, unsolicited updates about my horse's progress during his stay. On treatment days, I received several updates from the clinic staff without having to ask. This made me feel very reassured and understood. The medical care, the way the horse is handled, and the overall service are absolutely top-notch. You do pay accordingly, which is something to be aware of beforehand. But I can entrust my horse to capable hands with complete peace of mind. For major dental issues, it's definitely worth it, and I will bring any of my horses back here in such cases.

My mare was treated by Dr. Nowak for an upper lip abscess, including a 9-day stay at his private clinic in Meerbusch. The accommodation, surgery, care, treatment, and comprehensive diagnostics and laboratory tests were all handled very professionally. The inpatient care was excellent, and the diagnostics and daily updates on the treatment progress and my mare's condition were perfectly organized. Even after her discharge, we continued with outpatient care at home, receiving excellent support through follow-up photos and discussions.
