Tierärztliche Praxis für Kleintiere Amelie Ratjen

We've been going to this practice since we moved to Ammersbek in 2022. Ms. Ratjen was incredibly compassionate in helping us say goodbye to our Yorkie, Paul. We now have a new furry friend, Matti, and we feel very well cared for here! Thank you to the whole, always friendly team! 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♀️

The last two visits were unfortunately not good. Yesterday, she should have sent us straight to the animal hospital, and the time before that, she gave us a completely wrong diagnosis. When we called again yesterday, they just told us we couldn't come in because they were about to close. So we went to the animal hospital, and that was a good thing. Our dog almost suffocated yesterday. Both times, they gave the dog injections based on the wrong diagnosis. Unfortunately, all we got was a bill, and as mentioned, this is the second time this has happened.

I've had dogs and rabbits for 20 years and have taken them to many places for treatment. I found this veterinary clinic to be the best place for pets in general. They are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable.

For small things like consultations (such as vacations) and vaccinations, she's incredibly quick and proactive. But especially when things get serious; Ms. Ratjen has already had to operate on our dog and cat, and it went perfectly every time. She simply has a wealth of experience and high standards for herself (and also for us), for example, regarding aftercare (the neck brace really, really has to stay on; the stitching was a real challenge, I don't want to have to do that again…! ;-) and she's absolutely honest (!) with us about costs (cheaper than others in the Walddörfer area) and the duration of treatment. Top-notch practice. (It's best to call ahead to find out when it's convenient; then you'll hardly have to wait. Well-organized.)

An outstanding veterinarian with an excellent team. Super friendly, everything is explained patiently, even if you ask your third question. They really take their time with the animals. And if it fits in, they'll even do an examination on one dog and quickly clean the teeth of another, even when it was actually the cat's turn for tartar removal. Incidentally, we're convinced that Dr. Heller's treatment gave our Tammy another year with us. Thank you so much, Heller family.
