I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again most sincerely for the wonderful care I received on December 30, 2025. On that day, I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog, Cosmo – and initially faced the enormous challenge of even finding an open veterinary clinic, as my usual vet was on vacation and seemingly everything else was closed as well. Mobile vets were overwhelmed, and my call to a large veterinary practice in Gelsenkirchen, which calls itself a clinic, was unfortunately very stressful and lacked empathy. Luckily, I had the idea to look in Gladbeck, as I live near the border – and that's how I found Dr. Wüst's veterinary practice. Even the initial contact was exceptionally friendly, calm, and helpful. We were even offered two options: a later appointment, which would have been convenient, and alternatively, an appointment around 11:00 a.m. They very sensitively and almost apologetically pointed out that there might be a wait. Ultimately, however, this concern proved to be unfounded. We were allowed to wait in the car in complete peace and were promptly invited in, without feeling like we were waiting or under any time pressure. The veterinarian on duty that day was incredibly empathetic, calm, and respectful. She made our farewell as dignified and loving as possible. Blankets were immediately brought so Cosmo could lie comfortably, and I had the opportunity to lie down with him in peace. The entire process was handled with great care, without any rush, and with a great deal of compassion. We also received wonderful help with carrying him back to the car afterward and with everything that was difficult both logistically and emotionally. Communication was warm, understanding, and compassionate at all times. What was particularly touching for me was that this was our very first visit to this practice – and yet, in one of the most difficult moments, we were shown so much humanity and warmth. Thank you so much for this exceptional care. Melanie L.

I don't often write reviews, but I have to say that Mr. Wüst is one of the best for me when it comes to rabbits. These animals aren't easy, and when something happens, it's usually urgent. He's helped my animals so many times, always taking the time despite being busy and not having an appointment. I've been to several vets, and this is the one I feel most comfortable with. Of course, there are situations where even Mr. Wüst can't do anything. I've experienced that myself, but that's just part of the job. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I've rarely experienced such service, and with the number of patients, it's certainly not always easy. You all do a fantastic job. Great practice and great team. As a pet owner, I'm sure I'm often too stressed, but I'm incredibly grateful for your dedication and everything you do!

We feel very well cared for at Dr. Wüst's practice. The entire team is incredibly friendly, empathetic, animal-loving, and wonderful with children. A little over a year ago, we sadly had to have our dog put down. Dr. Wüst and his team supported us with incredible empathy and made it as comfortable as possible for our dog. Afterward, we received a card, and the words in it were very comforting. Even though it was closing time, no one on the team was watching the clock, and Dr. Wüst gave us all the time we needed. Our daughter was also lovingly supported during this difficult time. Thank you so much again! Now we've been given a puppy who had to have surgery at just six months old. Dr. Wüst and his team took such wonderful care of Cooper that he happily ran into the practice for his follow-up appointment. I was very impressed that Dr. Wüst personally took Cooper and his dog for walks. It reaffirms how important the animals and people are to the team. Cooper recovered quickly, and Dr. Wüst really knows what he's doing. I'm glad we chose this practice and didn't have the surgery done at the hospital. The prices are charged at the standard rate, which isn't higher than at other practices, but the work is of a very high standard. Unfortunately, our health insurance didn't cover the costs (so I can't recommend Lassie, as we pay the highest rate with our insurance), but everyone was very understanding and patient with us. Dr. Jacobs is also a wonderful doctor with a big heart for animals and children. She's very empathetic with our autistic child; some pediatricians could learn a thing or two from her. Stuffed animals are also examined and cared for at every appointment. Thank you so much for everything; everyone at this practice has definitely chosen the right profession!

We are absolutely delighted with Dr. Wüst's practice. The way they treat both animals and people is so friendly and warm 🥰. Our two cats are receiving excellent care and attention here. Our cat Balou just had all his teeth removed due to FORL. Everything went perfectly. Our cat is thriving again because he's finally free of the pain, which wasn't even obvious to us at first. Of course, we were initially skeptical (a completely toothless cat?), but Dr. Wüst clearly explained the pain that affected animals have to endure – thank you 💗💗💗

I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Wüst and his team to every pet owner! We felt very comfortable, and my old boy received such excellent care, even though he already has several pre-existing conditions. He had to have 17 teeth extracted! Everything went perfectly, thanks to Dr. Wüst and his team! We can't even express in words how grateful we are for such dedication to our animal! Thanks again to you all for making my boy feel better now! Best regards, Valentino and his owner!
