We went to Ms. Thiesen-Moussa's today for the temperament test, and I can highly recommend her. She and her team went out of their way to put me at ease and impressed us with their friendliness, understanding of dogs, and objectivity. However our "story" turns out – many thanks to everyone involved!
A big thank you! Dog training with Kristina is always a lot of fun :) Very helpful tips and simply lovely. Keep up the good work :)
My rescue dog, an American Akita, has been attending veterinary behavior therapy with Dr. Thiesen-Moussa for nine months. He exhibited several issues, including aggressive behavior towards other dogs, aggression when physically handled, separation anxiety, and behavioral problems stemming from a lack of socialization. Dr. Thiesen-Moussa is not only friendly and patient with dog owners but also highly competent in dealing with difficult or specialized breeds and their specific problems. Following a comprehensive assessment, a detailed behavior therapy plan was developed, tailored to the dog's specific needs. The veterinary behavior therapy has provided us with expert advice and invaluable support in our daily lives, including targeted medication for his stereotypies and compulsive behaviors. The individualized therapy approaches have proven effective and also take into account the unique character and limitations of the human-dog team. Dr. Thiesen-Moussa The dog's behavior has improved significantly overall, within the realm of possibility for this breed and the dog's individual character; the dog is now noticeably more balanced and people-oriented in everyday life. I can highly recommend this "Veterinary Dog Training School" to any dog owner with complicated and/or behaviorally challenged dogs.
