Detailed consultation and explanations by Dr. Lindhaus regarding vaccinations, feeding, etc. for our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Dexter. Always happy to come again, even if it's a bit of a drive! Wolfgang and Brigitte from Hörstel
1. The ladies at reception on Wednesday afternoon were quite unfriendly; no greeting, etc. Towards the end of the treatment, money was the most important thing and something that had to be dealt with as quickly as possible. No "get well soon" or "good luck" or anything similar for an animal that was close to death. They seemed quite heartless. 2. The practice didn't seem stressed, yet the treatment rooms were covered in bloodstains, fur from another animal, treats, and a dirty examination table. 3. The veterinarian was quite nice and kind. Unfortunately, the animal, which had become aggressive, was released (no offense intended; self-protection is paramount), but then a towel was thrown onto the animal's rear end, so naturally, the animal was startled and jumped off the raised examination table. Ultimately, the animal died. There's nothing that can be done, but I personally cannot recommend visiting this small animal practice.
I've been a patient of the Lindhaus Small Animal Practice for many years now, with four dogs. Whether it's annual vaccinations, illnesses, or emergencies, I always feel well-advised and cared for. All the veterinarians do a fantastic job, and the veterinary assistant team is truly wonderful. Always friendly and helpful, they answer every question competently. I'm so glad to take my dogs to such a great practice. Thank you for your work.
