Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Dr. Tatzer. I took my cat (a stray who had been living with us for a month without outdoor access) to her for help because she had been suffering terribly for six days and I wanted her to prescribe the contraceptive pill. After a brief examination, she told me the cat wasn't in heat but pregnant. I wanted to show her videos of typical heat behavior, but she claimed the constant yowling was probably because she had found flea dirt, and that lifting her rear end when petted was due to the fleas itching her. I was very perplexed and couldn't believe it at all. The next day, I went to a different veterinarian who immediately confirmed the heat based on my videos, gave me the contraceptive pill, and two days later the cat was back to her old self. I have an appointment for spaying, but definitely not with Dr. Tatzer.
