I visited the Tierklinik Thalerhof tonight for an emergency with my dog, and I was extremely impressed with their service. From the initial phone call, they were incredibly helpful, understanding, and kind. Upon arrival, there were no long waiting times—we were seen right away. The staff were so sweet and compassionate with my dog, who was terrified and just wanted to leave. The young vet who treated us was amazing. She took her time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and made sure to double-check that everything my dog had eaten had indeed been vomited out. Her attention to detail and care were outstanding. The clinic itself is very clean and modern, and despite it being an emergency visit, the pricing was very reasonable. Overall, I felt that my dog was in great hands, and I highly recommend this clinic for anyone in need of urgent or routine care. I was initially a bit concerned due to some negative reviews I had read online, but after my experience, I can't agree with them at all.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, which I appreciated. I brought my dog in with bloody stool and vomiting, and after a 3.5-hour wait, they did a check-up and X-ray, then sent us home with probiotics and stomach meds. After three days with no improvement, I contacted my regular vet, who—based only on the symptoms I described—immediately prescribed and sent antibiotics. My dog started improving after just two doses. It then took this clinic three days (and several calls) to send the X-ray and report. My vet later confirmed that the X-ray clearly showed bowel inflammation and that antibiotics should have been given right away. I’m leaving a low rating because I paid €435 for basicly nothing.

I have contacted this clinic two times. The first time everything was fine, we were accepted quickly, my cat stayed there for 3 days, they sent photos, reported on the progress by phone and provided professional support. I paid roughly 950€. The second time was a disaster. They took my cat, I expected the same interaction with me as the first time, but everything was completely different. They were silent, no one contacted me, there were no photos or reports. After my anxious calls, they said that my car needs an operation, which costs 2 thousand euros. I started researching how much such operation costs in other clinics and found a surgeon agreed to do the operation for 800 euros. I informed the clinic that I wanted to take my cat, since the price is too high and they do not provide me any information on his health status. I felt like they are wasting time so that we would pay more(each day costs minimum 150€ just to stay there). When I came to pick up the cat, they gave him to me with hugely swollen inflamed penis. Of course he still could not pee and was obviously suffering from pain!!! For that I paid 1400€! As It was later explained to me in another clinic, they inserted a catheter incorrectly and injured the entire urethra, which provoked a sharp deterioration in the cat's health and put his life at risk. Now it became clear why there were no photos and no communication with me. They knew that they had caused trouble for the animal. You can make your own conclusions out of my story. We will never return to such specialists with this level of qualification again. And we do not advise you to. P.S. they never provided me with ANY documents or test results for what was done for those 1400€.

We went there for an emergency and they threated us super nicely both human and dog. Blood test and X-ray on site made the examination quick and I will definetely going there for any emergency.

Overprized veterinary service, taking advantage of emotionally distress pet owners. Scheduled activities are not kept or moved despite of promises. UPDATE: Even the Reply on the review is a standardized text without any sympathy or even bad conscience. I recommend to look for other emergency clinics if you can...you can always call the fire fighter department. They usually know which doctor is on call.
