Reviews
A good friend recommended this vet to us, and we've taken several animals there. We were always received very warmly. He always makes a quick diagnosis and helps the animal immediately. We're extremely satisfied because he doesn't administer unnecessary food, worming or tick treatment, or unnecessary vaccinations! He always gets straight to the point! 5 stars from us! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
My mother and I used to take our two dogs to Dr. Albrecht. When one of our dogs became seriously ill, he was on vacation, so we had to go to Dr. Emmerichs. There, our dog was diagnosed with epilepsy, and we stayed with Dr. Emmerichs because of his excellent and dedicated care until he retired. Today, my mother wanted to take one of our hens to Dr. Albrecht. Instead of treatment, however, she was met with a rude awakening: He declared that he would no longer treat any of our animals because we had previously gone to a different veterinarian. He literally said, "Take your chicken back home. I will not treat any of your animals again. The right you took for yourself to go to someone else, I now take for myself too. I may be a service provider, but I don't need to do this." This is completely incomprehensible to us: A veterinarian who puts his pride above the well-being of animals is not an option for us. Very disappointing and sad.
Hi. I was thrilled. I had to go to him for an emergency operation on Christmas Eve because he was on call, and I was very impressed. A vet of the old school. The animal's well-being was his top priority. He gave clear advice and didn't use overpriced medications. I've decided to switch all three of my dogs to him.
I can only confirm the bad reviews. He looks at the animal for two minutes without properly examining it and gives injections, pastes, and vitamin tablets without explanation. Then you're supposed to come back every week without any visible improvement, so he can collect the money weekly. We spent âŹ500 without a diagnosis, and I was supposed to go back the following week, which thankfully I didn't. One visit to another vet was enough to get professional help, and my cat is doing much better. The other vet's opinion: Why was a paste given without the necessary examination to determine if the animal needed it? (It didn't.) Why weren't any tests performed? The animal's well-being should come first, not the wallet.
