I want to make one thing clear from the outset. This isn't about the veterinary practice or Markus himself. This is solely about his employee, Anne Gast. Here's what happened: Our breeder highly recommended the practice and gave us his number, so I contacted him. (Our dog was supposed to be spayed there.) Markus asked me to call the practice and clarify everything with Anne Gast. I did this by phone on June 11th. I told Ms. Gast what the issue was. She told me she would contact me today, or at the latest tomorrow, to schedule an appointment. Dear Ms. Gast, to this day you haven't contacted us to arrange an appointment. I have no idea what your reasons are for ignoring this; perhaps you don't want to earn any money, I don't know. All I can think about now is, if this had been an emergency, our dog would certainly be dead today. Thank you very much. Your behavior is neither professional nor customer-friendly. If I were your boss, you would receive a formal warning from me, and next time, you would be fired. This has nothing to do with animal welfare. I will not be able to recommend you. Your behavior clearly shows me that you are in the wrong profession. This is no way to treat animals and their owners. I hope you learn from your mistakes. Your behavior deserves zero stars from me.
