Super
Yesterday, I brought an injured buzzard to the vet's office for an x-ray. It appeared to have a broken wing. After some waiting, the bird was taken away for the x-ray. Twenty minutes later, they told me there was only a bloody wound (which hadn't been treated), but no fracture was visible. I was incredibly relieved, as I had already spoken to a raptor rescue center before the vet visit. They told me that if the wing fracture wasn't complicated, they would take the bird in, care for it, and later release it back into the wild. However, if the wing had a difficult fracture or even a comminuted fracture, the bird would be euthanized immediately. Since the vet's office said there was no fracture, a driver picked it up at 5 p.m. Unfortunately, I received an unpleasant call that evening from the raptor rescue center, asking which vet I had been to, as the wing had an open and still bleeding fracture, and the bones were visible – a diagnosis that could be made with a simple visual inspection. The animal shouldn't have been left to suffer from 9 am until almost 7 pm; it should have been euthanized immediately. I've been to several veterinarians, but I've never experienced anything like this. The animal's well-being was never considered. It really couldn't be worse!
Sadly, I had to let my cat go. Ms. I. O. told me I would have to take my cat to Recklinghausen. I'm glad I'm a qualified nurse and immediately set off for Lüdinghausen. My pet had suffered acute heart failure! I can't write about the whole disgraceful situation that ensued right now!
We take all our animals to this practice. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. I brought our Spanish street dog to the practice for the first time, just so he could get used to everything and wouldn't be afraid. One of the vets calmly looked through his paperwork and explained everything. Then, our Lucky was examined very gently, and they sat on the floor with him and gave him treats to help him settle down. The vet examined his teeth very slowly and carefully and listened to his heart and lungs. Everything was done with such patience and calm. It was wonderful. Days later, we came in for a nail trim and were finished in 10 minutes because Lucky was such a good boy. We've also had a few emergencies with our other dog and our horses, and Geiping Practice was there immediately to help. Whether you can drive in or need someone to come out, they're always there. The friendliness, advice, treatment, and overall service are truly top-notch. And if there's ever a problem or misunderstanding, it can always be resolved properly right away. For me, it's a top-notch practice.
Absolutely competent and friendly team. On Monday, they performed an emergency birth for our dog after our usual vet told us we couldn't come in because they were about to close for the day! This practice, which was unfamiliar to us, didn't hesitate, let us in immediately, and provided immediate assistance to save the litter. Furthermore, the vet checks in daily on the condition and well-being of the mother and puppies! ❤️ Huge praise and a big thank you to the entire practice!
