I just wanted to pick something up today. There were three women in the waiting room. A man came in. Only then did the vet finally appear and assure him he'd be seen immediately. After all, he just wanted to pick something up too, as did two of the three women in the waiting room. When he was finally called, the vet again started justifying himself and deliberately ignored our objections and questions about whether it was standard practice to let men go ahead. We then decided, along with another potential client, to spend my money at a practice where I'm actually valued. Please work on your deeply ingrained sexism, Dr. [Name]!
I had an emergency because my dog's right muzzle suddenly swelled up considerably and was causing him severe pain. Since I was visiting Graz, Dr. Hopfer was nearby, which proved to be a good choice. Dr. Hopfer examined my dog immediately and identified the problem within seconds. The problem was resolved, and my dog is no longer in pain. The doctor and his assistant (a lady with glasses) are very kind, friendly, and helpful. You can come without an appointment, there are no long waiting times, and it's great that there's parking right in front of the practice. For years, we've been impressed by his love and dedication to his profession/vocation as a veterinarian. There's no one better for our two dogs than Dr. Hopfer. He has helped us overcome problems both big and small with sensitivity and expertise on several occasions.
