Tierarztpraxis Dr. Astrid von Rauchhaupt

Dr. Tierarztpraxis and her whole staff are con-artists that prey on people and their pets for financial gain. Prior to going to see the Dr. I called to get information regarding the pricing for 1 shot that my cat needed to complete vaccination requirements. The receptionist was not transparent with the price and told my girlfriend she doesn't know the prices. How does someone working the desk and phones not know the price of services of a place they work for a living? I decide to go there since it was in the neighborhood to get more information and service for my pet they told me they will let me know and charged me for a bunch of services I didn't ask for. I went there for 1 shot and they charged me for 6 services in total. When I asked them why they charged me for service I didn't ask for they started to discriminated against me. The staff started screaming “Deutschland! Deutschland! Wir sind hier in Deutschland” because I don’t understand german so well. They refused to have the front desk secretary translate for me in english so I can understand the charges on the vet bill even though the receptionist spoke and understood English perfectly. They didn’t treat my pet good either and left it with an infection. She said she doesn’t want any foreigners here and to go back to America!

Simply a wonderful practice! Dr. von Rauchhaupt and her team are competent, they take their time, are empathetic towards their patients (as well as their two-legged companions), and provide detailed explanations. We trust her and her team and are so happy that she's Rio's doctor! 🥰 🐾

I became aware of Dr. von Rauchhaupt through the dog training school "Chaoten auf 4 Pfoten" (Chaos on Four Paws) and then switched Georgie to him as well. So far, I've always been very satisfied. Be it for routine checkups, consultations, or even surgery appointments, you feel understood and valued by the entire team. And most importantly: Georgie likes them too and still goes to the practice full of enthusiasm.
