Many thanks to Dr. Kusan's practice team! Our dachshund suffered from recurring ear infections, then eczema and itchy paws. Our regular vet treated him with numerous medications and injections. I then went to Dr. Kusan on a recommendation. Yes, it was 170 km, but it didn't matter. Every single kilometer was worth it. They didn't just treat the symptoms; they investigated the underlying cause. My dog had never been examined so thoroughly before. Thank you so much! :) My dog is feeling much better now.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kusan and her team. Our 1.5-year-old livestock guardian dog was suffering from severe pain due to bilateral hip dysplasia and could barely move or play. Just one day after the treatment, she was almost unrecognizable – since then, she hasn't cried out in pain at all. Thanks to Dr. Kusan, she can finally be a happy, exuberant young dog who can play and romp around without pain. We are thrilled about this every single day and are incredibly grateful! Both two-legged and four-legged patients feel completely at ease and well cared for here. Competence, passion, and a big heart for furry friends – highly recommended. Keep up the great work!
Dr. Kusan guided us with a professional clarity and honesty that is truly remarkable. A gold bead implantation was originally planned. However, during the anesthesia, she noticed that our dog felt different than expected. Instead of simply proceeding, she conducted a complete re-examination, took x-rays, and reassessed everything. The result: A gold bead implantation wasn't necessary at all. Instead, other causes of his pain were identified and addressed directly. This thoroughness, this proactive approach, and the courage to consciously deviate from a planned course of action deeply impressed us. Here, the animal is the focus, not a method. Her expertise is exceptionally meticulous, calm, and clear, and she always conveys the feeling that she is genuinely considering what is truly beneficial. We are incredibly grateful for this treatment and her honest approach. Toffee has been a different dog ever since ❤️
Almost a year and a half ago, we were facing a seemingly hopeless situation with our Weimaraner. Several veterinarians had practically given us a death sentence. For almost six weeks, she couldn't walk or even stand up on her own—and yet she had this will to live, this look that said, "I'm not finished yet." So we made the long trip to see Dr. Kusan. And today I know: That was the best decision. Dr. Kusan had a completely different perspective on the situation than all the other vets and pursued entirely different approaches. With great calm and expertise, she completely changed her medication—and just a few days later, our dog was actually standing up again. Today, a year and a half later, she—now 13 years old—is still doing well. This extra time is priceless to us. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Kusan. She made a miracle possible for us.
