Reviews
Great service from the vet. We had our dog worming tablet issued and pet passport completed within 5 minutes. Great value at €4 for our 8kg dog. Thank you.
We are new dog owners and came to this veterinarian for advice and guidance. We've already been there for vaccinations. The veterinarian impresses us with her easygoing manner, her love for animals, and her simple, pleasant way of communicating. She gives truly interesting and helpful tips. We and our dog feel very comfortable with this veterinarian.
A fantastic vet! We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Hitzler for being immediately available on a public holiday during our emergency, even though he wasn't officially on call. He took care of our rabbit right away. Here, compassion and the animal's well-being are truly paramount. Thank you so much for your invaluable help!
Highly recommended veterinarian! Always helpful and very thorough. We gladly drive 40 km for them – it's definitely worth it! Our furry friends always received excellent care and thorough examinations. You can tell that the animals are truly important here!
I took my dog to this vet as an emergency case because he suddenly became very ill and no other vet was open. He was the only one who told us to come in quickly – for which I was initially grateful. Unfortunately, my dog wasn't examined thoroughly. He was only palpated, diagnosed with a gastrointestinal infection, and given three injections, during which he cried in pain. When I expressed my sympathy, I was told to stop feeling sorry for him, otherwise he would never stop crying – I found this very insensitive. The next day, we went to his wife's vet for a check-up. Again, only palpation, more injections, and the response: everything was fine. Shortly afterward, my dog became very ill again. I then went to my regular vet. There, X-rays and an ultrasound were performed immediately. The diagnosis: pyometra – an absolute emergency. The uterus was completely filled with pus, threatening to rupture, and my dog wouldn't have survived. She needed emergency surgery the very next day. My vet said she'd only seen such a severely enlarged uterus twice in her entire career. It weighed 2.5 kg (5 lbs), and fluid had already accumulated in her abdominal cavity. If the first vet had examined her more thoroughly, this life-threatening situation might not have occurred. My dog thankfully survived the emergency surgery but is still very weak. I'm incredibly glad I listened to my gut feeling. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this practice, especially not in cases of serious or unclear symptoms.
