Tierarztpraxis Dr. König

A fantastic small vet with a wonderful, kind Team of Vets and assistants. I got to know Dr. König in 2011 as he was recommended by another Vet. He was the most empathetic and gentle person to me and my small kids back then, when we had to put our Yorkshire to sleep and say goodbye. This month he was recommended again to operate our Beagle by the dog’s physiotherapist. His colleagues who did the operation and the check up on my dog‘s knees after that were just great.

This vet seems to be very well equipped and that us why I went to them on a reference from my usual vet. My dog has been having recurring digestion issues. Now they put her on hypoallergenic diet to see if that helps. Follow-up visit soon. Overall friendly atmosphere and I feel my dog is in good hands.

We are beyond grateful to this clinic! Our dog had a severe emergency yesterday and they immediately took us in even though they weren’t officially open during that time. They took truly the best care of our senior dog and absolutely saved her life by performing an emergency surgery right away. Words can’t describe how grateful we are. It’s certainly a very professional, caring and responsible group of vets in a nice, clean clinic.

Best vet experience in all of Berlin. Known to be THE place for helping a dachshund with any back issues (e.g. IVDD). Directly and indirectly cared for our elder dachshund George (2017, 2023). When we thought there might be an issue with our younger dachshund Theodora, we called them up immediately and they got us a walk-in appointment same-day. We took a cab across all of Berlin and was seen immediately (thank you Frau Lang!). Everyone is unbelievably friendly, personable, and professional. We had Dr. Görlich, who has an incredible bedside manner, combining a great sense of humor with a rapid-fire assessment. The only downside for us is this clinic is on the other side of Berlin (destination vet!) , but it's worth the trip and we might consider moving to this area because of it's proximity to Dr. König's clinic 😹.

My absolute favorite animal clinic; me and my cat are always welcomed here. We did teeth cleaning, sterilization, and year check-ups with vaccinations for a great price. English-speaking staff is a huge bonus!
