We've been taking our cats to the Gotthardts for almost ten years now, and they're in the very best hands. They've always been incredibly helpful and dedicated, no matter what needed doing. I have never met Dr. Gotthardt, but I am deeply grateful for his recent care of our senior dog. Our 12 year old labrador became acutely ill while our family was out of the country. As we are new to Berlin, we had not yet established a veterinarian. Our pet sitter urgently contacted Dr. Gotthardt, who was graciously willing to see our dog on that day. In addition, he recommended for her to come back to see him 2 more times that week for treatment -- the 2nd time was on Christmas Day!! I am a doctor as well and am very familiar with the stress of running a medical practice and the difficulty of juggling work and personal life. I am amazed by the kindness and compassion that Dr. Gotthardt showed to our dog -- with very little notice. He is an inspiration to medical providers of all kinds!

The best vet around. He even takes in wild birds because he has aviaries in his garden. Always reachable by mobile phone, even at night.
