Reviews
The staff at the practice are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Schröder is very empathetic and relaxed, which has a great effect on the animal! She works with a truly animal-centered approach to achieve the fastest possible healing and pain relief! She's a really great vet whom my dog and I always enjoy going to! Even though we have another vet right next door, we gladly make the trip. After what I've had to pay elsewhere, I'd like to add that what I paid here wasn't overpriced and was absolutely affordable! At least not at this point.
Update: July 1, 2026 Hello everyone, Unfortunately, the occasion this time isn't so happy, because yesterday I had to let my little bear cross the Rainbow Bridge. Pitt was 15 years, 2 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days old. No, he wasn't really sick, but due to his age, his legs simply wouldn't cooperate anymore, and he told me with his eyes: "Mommy, I have to go now, and you have to let me go to Ronja. We'll see each other again, I promise, for sure!" I am so incredibly grateful to both of you for the loving and, above all, emotional support I received. It's not just your job, but so much more. You truly couldn't offer your four-legged patients and their "parents" more love, understanding, and care. An exceptional situation for all of us. With your help, Pitt was able to cross the Rainbow Bridge peacefully. Dear Kristin, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the loving hug. I needed it so much at that moment, and you have such a knack for it. So thoughtful! It's still too soon to say I'll be back. But I'll definitely be back soon. Until then, all my love 🫶😘🥰 There aren't more than 5 stars here, are there? So 5 from Pitt and 5 from me = 10 STARS!!! Dear practice team, dear Dr. Schröder… Yes, it always takes us/me a little longer, but it's important to me/us to share our experiences at your practice. We've been patients of yours on and off for almost 6 years now. Whether for checkups, vaccinations, and the like, or for illnesses, etc. We've never been with any other vet for so long! With you, we've finally found our health team. That's why we want and need to share our experiences now. - A competent and caring veterinarian who, thankfully, is honest and empathetic and doesn't mince words. - A super friendly and caring practice team. - Both Dr. Schröder and her team take their time for both animals and their owners. - Making appointments is straightforward… they almost always work out. - They don't immediately resort to harsh chemicals, but rather try a gentler approach first… homeopathy, which has worked very well for us, as it has few to no side effects. Our first encounters were with the surgery for a lipoma in a particularly awkward spot… it took about four months until the wound finally closed. Dr. Schröder was there for us the whole time… laser therapy, suitable ointments for the dog, constant availability, and helpful words for me. Then there were the occasional minor issues. In August 2025, our dog had canine hepatitis… which he recovered from completely without any lasting damage. ' ... Almost four weeks ago, he had vestibular syndrome, and the first aid was fantastic – thank you so much! Three days later, he had a terrible stomach bug… but after five days, he cleared up well with herbal remedies. He's still a little unsteady on his feet, but we're working on it. At almost 14, he's no spring chicken anymore. So, a huge thank you to you all!!!
Best veterinarian in Hilden. Friendly people with a heart for animals. I always feel very well cared for and trust the practice completely. Dr. Schröder takes her time for both animal and owner. Thank you so much.
Sadly, our beloved pet had to leave us, but the veterinary practice was incredibly kind, empathetic, and caring during this difficult time. Thank you so much for everything 🙏
We feel very well cared for at Dr. Schröder's practice and by her team. The consultations are always friendly, competent, helpful, and empathetic. Dr. Schröder has a fantastic way with animals – in our case, our dog Hector. She also takes the time to talk to us as owners in a professional manner. We will gladly come back!
