Tierarztpraxis Dr. Rolf Bühring

I am very disappointed and also somewhat angry. I went to the practice for an emergency euthanasia. I appreciated that they found time for me and my pet on short notice. However, Dr. Bühring handled my pet very roughly, as if it were an object. I was expected to pay for the treatment in advance, which is unusual for me. I had no choice about whether or not I wanted to be present during the euthanasia. I was sent out to the waiting room. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. After a short time, I was called back in, and I thought I could be with my pet as it passed, but it was already over. I was very surprised that the euthanasia only took about 7 minutes. That's not something I'm used to. I will not be going back to this practice.

A fantastic vet with a very lovely wife. We had all three of our cats treated by him. When we had to say goodbye to our Pauli, his wife even shed a tear. We are very satisfied!

A good vet for me because: respectful, calm, a rubber mat on the examination table, and good advice. Plus, all the treatments are really great value for money! We'll be happy to come back!

For the past 11 years, our pets (dog, cats, dwarf rabbits) have been patients of Dr. Bühring. The communication and explanation of the necessary treatments were always perfectly adequate. Our questions were always answered clearly. We were able to get appointments at short notice. The costs were always, in my opinion, calculated fairly. There were never any unpleasant surprises. More important to us as pet owners than all of that: For our somewhat anxious and occasionally insecure dog, the visit to the vet doesn't seem to be a major problem. He tolerates the treatments quite calmly. This makes the vet visit pleasantly relaxed for us as well. All in all, we are more than satisfied.

Since I often read here about how bad this vet is supposed to be, I can only report positive experiences; my small animals have always received excellent care. They're all healthy and have always recovered, except for those who couldn't be saved. There might be some truth to the negative comments, but honestly... none of us are perfect, and mistakes happen. All I can say is: "Friendly, competent, and I still go to this vet today." 🙂
