Reviews
I have been visiting Dr. Losch and his team for more than a year. I must say that everyone is very kind and sympathetic and has taken good care of my pet cat. I had taken my cat for regular vaccines, OP etc. I would recommend his practice. Though I get a consultation in Deutsch(German), but English also works. I give my full recommendation.
Overall great attention to the dogs health and wellbeing. Sprechstunde can get quite busy so be sure to get there early to get a good spot
They are really perfect
(English version below) Absolutely negative experience. I went to the vet's office in person to ask if a stool sample test was possible for my cat, who had diarrhea, and to get a cost estimate. I was told that I could only bring the sample (without the cat) and that the price would be around €80. The test was performed, and the result was only communicated verbally—no written report was provided. Almost two months later, I received the bill: The calculated cost for the test (excluding medication) was an unexpected €130, a 60% increase, justified by the "interpretation of the result" and a brief explanatory phone call. When I expressed my concerns, the vet's written response was unprofessional and dismissive, implying that I had been "done a favor" and that I could simply send the bill to my pet insurance company. I find this behavior unprofessional and opaque: no prior information about additional costs, no written report (later offered for an extra €20), and an overall very unprofessional approach. I absolutely cannot recommend this practice – a lack of transparency, professionalism, and fairness. ******* Absolutely a negative experience. I personally went to ask if it was possible to perform a fecal test on my cat, who had diarrhea, and to get a cost estimate. I was told it was possible to bring only the sample (not the cat) and that the cost would be around €80. The test was performed, and the results were given only verbally, without any written report. Almost two months later, I received the invoice: the billed cost for the test (excluding medication) was an unexpected €130, with a 60% price increase justified by the “interpretation of the result” and a brief explanatory phone call. When I raised my concern, the veterinarian’s written reply was unprofessional and dismissive, implying that a “favor” had been done and that, since I had pet insurance, I could simply send the invoice to them. This behavior is untransparent and unprofessional: no prior notice of additional costs, no written report (offered later for another €20.30), and an overall attitude far below what one would expect from a veterinary clinic. I strongly advise against this practice due to lack of clarity, professionalism, and fairness.
Dr. Lösch and his entire team can truly be described as a gift from heaven, as angels. We are currently treating two elderly female cats, and our 16-year-old Sia is nearing the end of her life. Through his expertise, dedication, and commitment, Dr. Lösch has ensured that we have been able to have Sia with us for so long (despite issues such as pancreatic and kidney problems). He also practices in English, which is simply perfect for my American wife and her cat. Dr. Lösch does everything he can to make our feline friends' lives as beautiful and comfortable as possible and has saved Sia's life several times. The entire practice deserves our highest praise, and we wholeheartedly recommend them!
