Reviews
Yesterday, I visited Dr. Geiben for the first time with my dog, Ellie. A lovely little practice where "all is still in order." :-) I got the appointment VERY spontaneously, but Dr. Geiben still took her time, not only to treat Ellie, but also to give me tips for further wound care. The price-performance ratio is absolutely excellent. We felt very well looked after, not least because of the doctor's open, friendly, and competent manner. From now on, Ellie will definitely be a patient at this practice (if necessary). :-)
Ms. Geiben is very competent and kind; she takes plenty of time for her animal patients and their concerned owners. We feel we are in good hands there. Communication via smartphone works perfectly, and appointments are available at short notice. Incidentally, we have a medium-sized dog (King Charles, 13 years old). We can wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Geiben!
What kind of veterinarian doesn't answer their phone when they're closed and know an animal needs help? What kind of veterinarian refuses to help a small, sweet Yorkie who is choking and dying instead of crossing the Rainbow Bridge in peace? No, we called, but the vet told us she wouldn't answer. We had to drive about 10 kilometers with our dying dog until we finally found a veterinarian who ended her suffering. Yorkshire, who ended her suffering. Gypsy was 14 years old, sweet, and deserved all the attention in the world. Thankfully, she found a REAL veterinarian and was able to die peacefully in our arms. It's pathetic, inhumane, and scandalous to deal with people who claim to be veterinarians but behave like rude office workers who clock out on time. This is all the more scandalous because this person claims to be available 24/7 on Google. She didn't even open the door, and if we hadn't found a proper vet, our little dog would have suffocated. What kind of vet has no heart and certainly no professional ethics, especially considering what happened? This shouldn't happen, especially not during such a sad and tragic time as the loss of a beloved pet who had been a member of our family for 14 years. A veterinarian should be called to care, to alleviate suffering, and to help. We saw none of that. It's a disgrace!
