Tierarztpraxis Dr. Thomas Riemann

Unsympathetic veterinarian! We are all incredibly grateful to the woman who tried to help us at 10:30 PM! She did everything she could to help our cat (who had an acute condition that unfortunately led to her being euthanized the next day). She told us to call Mr. Riemann at 8:00 AM so he could take a closer look. We called at 8:00 AM sharp, but the cat hadn't slept all night, only convulsed and was in pain. We explained everything to him, and the painful meowing was clearly audible in the background. His response: "I didn't see the animal. Come to Sömmerda at 1:00 PM." That was it—no sympathy, no follow-up, just a curt reply. The upshot is, we went to another veterinarian who opened at 10:00 AM, but unfortunately, we had to have our cat euthanized because it was too late. I'm very disappointed. If he behaved like that, I would be utterly ashamed.

I visited the veterinary practice on a Saturday as a new patient with my cat. The receptionist was very friendly and explained the procedure to me. Despite the waiting area being full, the wait was perfectly reasonable. The vet was very nice and took his time. The cost of the treatment was very fair. I feel well cared for at the practice.
