I called the vet's office because my French Bulldog suddenly had balance problems and was vomiting a lot. The amount of mucus she vomited kept increasing. I was told I could get an appointment for her immediately. The vet came in without any examinations, no x-rays or MRI. He diagnosed her without any prior examination. He said it was a herniated disc. He didn't think it necessary to do any further examinations, like taking her temperature or listening with a stethoscope. Or x-rays or blood work. Then he gave her an injection??? 8 times in her back ❌ Poor Sanny was completely distraught. Since he was apparently under pressure and had more important appointments, he left behind various medications that we, as "laypeople," were supposed to administer ourselves. These medications did absolutely nothing. When we got home, the same thing happened again. The next day we went back again, and she got another 8 injections in her back. Tell us what other options we had, like surgery, etc. She got worse every day; we didn't know what to do anymore. A few days later, she completely passed out. Unfortunately, it was on a Sunday. Mr. Schwarz in Mitterfels was on call. He answered the phone immediately, and I briefly explained what was wrong with Sanny. He simply said over the phone that he couldn't give her any more medication. We were told to get her an MRI as soon as possible; she had a tumor. We took Sanny to Austria. That was the only clinic that would allow Sanny to have an MRI in her condition. Because of the misdiagnosis, we lost too much time. We couldn't save her anymore. Since Sanny had a huge tumor in her head. Unfortunately, she died a painful death. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone. Therefore, no stars. A vet should save lives. Four appointments with eight injections each, red light therapy, and medication cost a whopping €900. Never again will I go to this vet.
Highly recommended vet! We took our cat there on a Saturday because we thought she'd been hit by a car. Fortunately, it turned out it was "just" a bite wound. The vet was incredibly calm, friendly, and compassionate and immediately examined our cat thoroughly. She received an antibiotic and painkiller injection and recovered quickly. The treatment was professional, caring, and at €67, a really fair price – even on a weekend! You can immediately tell that the animal's well-being is their top priority. Many thanks to the vet and the entire team! 🐾❤️
