Reviews
A truly wonderful, empathetic, and competent veterinarian. I take my three Bull Terriers to her and am so happy to have found such a vet. Tilly recently had her hips x-rayed, her ears cleaned, and her teeth professionally cleaned. Bolle is having his teeth done mid-month, after she was able to quickly help him with his diarrhea. I highly recommend her, especially since you can go there without an appointment. Keep up the great work, dear Stiefel Veterinary Practice, because the veterinary assistants are also fantastic—friendly and competent!
First, I want to say that the staff at the veterinary practice are the heart and soul of the place. Friendly, approachable, and competent. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the vet! Unfriendly, curt, and unexplaining! I've had dogs for 30 years and have simply never experienced anything like this. After almost two hours of waiting, she wrinkled her nose, stuck a needle into my foster dog's leg, and disappeared as quickly as she'd appeared in the examination room. No general examination was performed, yet I was billed over €30 plus VAT. Other dog owners I meet on my daily walks have confirmed that Ms. Stiefel is an extremely moody person, and the treatments reflect that. As a client, I rely on competence and communication. Unfortunately, this practice lacked both, so I'm once again having to travel further to ensure professional care for my foster dogs!
The reception is friendly, with separate waiting rooms. They have fixed, limited opening hours. Unfortunately, the current veterinarian lacks empathy, barely interacts with the owners, and is curt in the examination rooms. If you need help because you're alone, it's refused (e.g., cleaning or shaving your pet's rear end). You have to ask a lot of questions. Sadly, one illness was treated haphazardly without any explanation of what exactly was being injected. Had I stayed there, I would never have found out what was wrong with my pet.
Well-organized practice. There are two separate waiting areas for dogs and cats. Very relaxed. The team is very friendly. We come here for eye exams with our Aussie puppies. Nowhere else are our dogs treated with such care and expertise. Everyone is very friendly and empathetic. Yesterday we had a kitten with eye problems. Based on our positive experiences with our dogs, we visited the practice and were very satisfied. Everything was as always: friendly, competent, and helpful. Even when they're very busy, the atmosphere here is wonderful with both animals and their owners.
