Reviews
Very modern. Friendly and competent staff. Was there for an ultrasound of my dog's intestinal tract.

Unfortunately, my dog Sammy severely injured the cornea of her left eye on a thorny bush. Despite treatment with antibiotics and cortisone from our vet, the eye was very inflamed after the weekend, so I decided to have it removed. Following our vet's recommendation, we went to the surgical clinic in Neuenrade, where, after a short wait, Sammy was examined again with great care and affection. The vet reiterated her recommendation for immediate removal, informed her of the costs, and with our consent, gave her a sedative injection in her rectum, after which she became drowsy within minutes. An assistant then collected her from our waiting room for the upcoming surgery. We were told to call back around 3 pm to check on her progress. We were able to pick up our little pirate girl again at 5 pm. Everything was handled calmly and kindly; the vet and the other staff members were all very warm and helpful. The costs were also very reasonable; they simply want to help the animals, which they do with a great deal of love. Money isn't their primary focus, and it's wonderful that such places still exist. Regarding the costs, I expected well over €1000, but in the end, it was only €780. The veterinary clinic has a very modern feel, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you again for that, as I was at my wit's end. Two days after the surgery, Sammy is doing very well and is eating and drinking normally. She's also tolerating the medication we received very well. Furthermore, all common payment methods are accepted, and they also handle the direct billing with pet insurance for the owner. Thank you again, and hopefully, we won't have to see each other again. I'd gladly give it more than 10 stars!
Our Bernese Mountain Dog had two surgeries at the practice within a year, and we felt very well cared for. Friendly, good value for money 👍 Dr. Schweizer gets straight to the point. Thank you for the excellent advice.
