I can hardly express as much positivity in one text as I can only summarize here. On a Saturday morning, we unfortunately found our very spry and previously ill cat with a broken hind paw. We had taken her in from a rescue about four months earlier. She was in terrible condition and, as it turned out, had skin cancer on her ears, a limp likely due to accidents, thyroid problems, a suspected kidney ailment, and was deaf. We knew she would only be with us for a limited time. However, we managed to get her relatively healthy again, and she was incredibly grateful. She had a wonderful personality, was very lively and sociable, and was the only creature in the house who enjoyed "listening" to me play the violin 😉. As described at the beginning, we found her with the broken hind leg and quickly searched for a nearby emergency vet for that day. We found what we were looking for at the Zenker veterinary practice in Hartha. I must confess that I set off by car without any preparation and didn't know the area. Dr. Markus Zenker called me back several times because I had trouble finding the practice due to incorrect GPS data. "Perli" and I were warmly welcomed, and the diagnosis began immediately. Unfortunately, the X-ray revealed further serious problems in addition to the complicated fracture. Dr. Zenker and I decided to let her go. Had her overall condition been better, we would have done everything we could to help our "Perli-Schmerli." Dr. Zenker provided "Perli" and me with tremendous support, for which I am very grateful. We are incredibly grateful for the quick and kind help! Despite the late hour, the vet immediately agreed that we could bring our cat in. He took plenty of time, explained everything thoroughly, and treated our cat with great care. You can tell right away that competence and genuine animal welfare are his top priorities. We felt completely comfortable and understood. A huge recommendation – you rarely find such dedication and warmth! 🐾
