Incredibly grateful for this clinic – they saved our horse! Our mare Bella was closer to death than to life when we brought her to the clinic. A severe colic, caused by medication, followed by a fracture of the coffin bone due to her severe laminitis – she barely had a chance of survival. But the entire team at this clinic fought tirelessly for her. Bella was bedridden for three weeks due to the colic. But they didn't give up on her! She was cared for day and night – someone slept with her, fed her while she was lying down, and regularly turned her to prevent bedsores. Every pee, every dropping was cleaned up to make lying down as comfortable as possible for her. It was incredible to see the dedication and care with which they work here. Today, one year and eight months later, I'm sitting on Bella – and tears of joy are streaming down my face. This horse, who almost died, is walking again and bursting with the joy of life! And all this because this clinic didn't just treat a "case," but because the people there are truly passionate about each and every horse. I can only recommend this amazing team to anyone looking for a competent, dedicated, and horse-centered clinic. Thank you for saving our Bella!

Last December, we took our mare to Dr. Bussang's practice. Unfortunately, her condition had already progressed very far, and ultimately, nothing could be done for her. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly give her a 5-star rating. Dr. Bussang is absolutely competent, extremely experienced in the field of laminitis, and explained everything to us calmly, clearly, and understandably. You can immediately tell how much knowledge and dedication she brings to her work. The entire team was always friendly, approachable, and professional. I would also like to especially commend Dr. Bussang herself: During the euthanasia, she was incredibly loving, respectful, and present, which helped us immensely during that difficult time. I would strongly recommend that any horse owner with laminitis or similar issues contact Dr. Bussang as early as possible. Furthermore, I am convinced that every farrier and hoof trimmer would benefit enormously from further training with her. Thank you so much for your expert guidance and compassionate approach during a very difficult time.

For me, this is truly the best place to go for horses with laminitis. Unfortunately, we were almost too late, and I had to have my beloved draft horse mare euthanized after a long illness. I can only recommend that everyone contact the veterinary practice of Heike Bussang as quickly as possible; her competence and expertise, as well as the way she treats both horse and owner during such a difficult time, deeply touched me.

We want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU. The entire team fought for our horse's life with incredible dedication and team spirit, even coming back from a trade fair on a Sunday and immediately being there for us with the farrier, assistants, and vet – even late into the evening! Tatti and Dr. Bussang, in particular, were tireless – they worked countless night shifts, monitored the horse via iPad, and slept in the stable – caring for our horse hourly, nursing him back to health, hand-feeding him, and supporting him with so much love. We received daily phone calls, regular photos, and were always kept informed about every step in an open, honest, and empathetic manner. This dedication is truly exceptional, and we are deeply grateful for everything that was done for our horse. Unfortunately, our horse ultimately lost the battle. Due to the complications from the previous treatment, we and the team faced a very difficult starting point. Ms. Bussang let him go in an incredibly compassionate and peaceful way. He didn't suffer and was able to fall asleep peacefully with us by his side, for which we are eternally grateful to her and the entire team. Ms. Bussang looks for the root cause of the illness and doesn't just treat symptoms, but searches for the actual cause. I can only recommend that EVERYONE seek help at this clinic early on and listen to their gut feeling before it's too late. You rarely find a veterinary clinic with so much heart.
