She's very direct in her manner, which is very important in this job. I ended up at her practice on a Sunday emergency call and I won't go anywhere else! You can't find a better place to be. For me, Dr. Köhnke is above all else: extremely knowledgeable, honest, and competent. She clearly states the facts and always puts the animal's well-being first. Perhaps some people find this rather matter-of-fact, but I personally appreciate this direct and professional approach very much. Both my rabbits and my dog ​​have always received thorough examinations and excellent treatment. You can tell that Dr. Köhnke has a wealth of experience and that her decisions are based on sound expertise. She takes the time to answer questions and explains treatments clearly. Scheduling appointments is also flexible and straightforward, which is a great help in everyday life. Appointments can usually be arranged quickly, and you always feel well cared for. For me, a competent veterinarian I can trust is far more important than superficial friendliness. I feel my animals are in excellent hands with Dr. Köhnke. She is also very knowledgeable about rabbits and has outstanding contacts with specialists should further treatment be necessary.
