Tierarztpraxis Meinunger & Wölfelschneider

We took our two West Highland White Terriers to Dr. Sellinger and Ms. Meinunger and Ms. Wölfelschneider for almost 28 years. Our Ricci had diabetes for 12 years and needed intensive care. Leon had pulmonary fibrosis and heart problems for the last two years of his life. We were always treated kindly and courteously. The practice was always accessible. And Ms. Wölfelschneider handled our farewell with appropriate care. Thank you so much for all the years. Highly recommended!!

I can't understand some of the reviews. We've been going to the practice for many years, with all our appointments, and I can't say anything bad. They made saying goodbye to our cat as "pleasant" as possible. We got an honest opinion and acted accordingly. The same goes for our dogs: they take their time, take you seriously, and don't just charge you! On the contrary, they tell us to wait a few weeks, and if it doesn't improve, we'll conduct further tests. Absolutely the practice we trust! We highly recommend Ms. Meinunger and Ms. Wölfelschneider.

I hadn't actually planned on changing vets. But after receiving a devastating diagnosis for my cat, I had to act and get a second opinion. I got an appointment within just a few hours. Then everything happened very quickly :-) Further diagnostic tests were carried out, which confirmed his illness. We received excellent advice, the reception was always very warm, and there was always a very good exchange of information. Even when my cat became less cooperative at one point, they remained calm. I'm incredibly happy that my cat is in such good hands with Ms. Meinunger and Ms. Wölfelschneider. Thank you again for everything! Oskar is doing wonderfully. Simply awful. Does a cat over 18 years old, plagued by acute seizures and clearly suffering, really need blood drawn from four different places before being euthanized? Completely incomprehensible to me...is this just about money? Regarding your comment: we were at your practice not too long ago (2024). Our old cat wasn't doing well even then...However, I was assured that his teeth were in good condition. Unfortunately, poor blood test results (liver, kidney) were already detected at that time, which, according to you, were due to the cat's advanced age and ultimately untreatable. (Nevertheless, on your recommendation, he has since been receiving special food and appropriate tablets to support his liver and kidneys). It was also confirmed to me back in 2024 that our old cat unfortunately didn't have much longer to live... We are grateful that we've had another good year with our cat since then. We would have wished him a more peaceful death without unnecessary suffering.
