We were able to bring our cat to the practice today without an appointment. Ms. Wieprecht lovingly cared for our "witch." She was very empathetic and friendly, and explained everything very well. I took my 16-year-old Fussel, actually Jimmy (a Yorkie Pug mix), to the vet today as an emergency, since my regular vet was closed and I didn't want to wait until Monday. Fussel kept gagging and coughing up white mucus, which made me think he might have a heart problem. I can highly recommend this veterinary practice; he received a thorough examination and was x-rayed. Given his age, which you wouldn't necessarily guess, it's likely a heart valve defect with pulmonary edema. He received three injections and diuretics for the weekend so I can contact my regular vet on Monday to adjust his medication. Everyone there is very kind and does excellent work! Everything is explained clearly, and the fees are perfectly reasonable! My cat had to have emergency surgery due to an intestinal obstruction. 20 cm had to be removed and reconnected. The vet did a truly excellent job; there were no complications with such a risky operation, and none even in the weeks that followed. I received help whenever I had questions. Melanie knows what she's doing, and I will definitely continue to go to her if needed. Highly recommended! Kuba thanks you and your team =)
