Dr. Althöhn was recommended to me by the Hoppe and Stech veterinary practice as a specialist for dental problems. Since our dachshund is already over 15 years old, I had serious concerns about the necessary anesthesia. The exceptionally friendly welcome from Ms. Neurath, Ms. Rahlf, and the entire team immediately put me at ease. During the thorough initial consultation, Dr. Althöhn took ample time to address my concerns competently and sensitively, thus alleviating most of my anxieties. The surgery went very well, and I had the reassuring feeling at all times that our dog was in the best hands. I would particularly like to commend the gentle recovery from the anesthesia, which was aided by a lovingly prepared warming bed. The surgery was 20 days ago, and our dog—despite his advanced age—is fit and lively again. I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice. Fantastic team and a loving approach. Even our feisty cat was calm and patiently endured the x-ray, which surprised me as he's usually quite different. This veterinary practice is incredible. I went there for the first time because our senior cat wasn't feeling well. I was able to book an appointment with Ms. Behrend at short notice, and she took a lot of time, examined him thoroughly and with great care. She very sensitively shared his diagnosis with me, but sadly, I had to let him go. The entire team was incredibly warm and caring and provided excellent support during this difficult time. I found the thoughtful touches, like the candles, to be wonderful and respectful. I especially appreciated that we were allowed to come back again so my children could say goodbye.
