I took my sick mouse to this practice and had generally had good experiences there – most recently, they helped me with a severe mite infestation, administering the correct dosage, and everything went smoothly. That's why I went back again this time. However, this was my first time meeting Dr. Frank Burgmann, and the experience was different. When I called, I explained to the receptionist that my mouse showed no outward signs of illness and her breathing sounded normal, but I still wanted to have her examined because I was worried. The receptionist simply asked me to come in. At the practice, Dr. Frank Burgmann explained that an examination in that sense wasn't possible. Instead, without further explanation, he announced that he wanted to "inject her with something for mycoplasma" and disappeared to get the syringe. Neither he nor his assistant were able to keep the mouse still – they both kept reaching down from above, which understandably panicked the mouse. In general, I hadn't yet encountered a vet there who knew how to handle a mouse, so she was often just examined without being taken out of her box. I was ultimately the one who could calm her down by simply holding her on my open hand. Dr. Frank Burgmann then administered an injection with a needle directly in the area above her tailbone. Suddenly, she became completely still, and immediately afterward, my mouse's entire hindquarters were paralyzed. She began to stagger and tremble and died within seconds. What followed was almost incomprehensible to me. I was completely traumatized and in shock, and all I could do was stare in disbelief. Instead of pausing for even a moment or apologizing, Dr. Frank Burgmann immediately launched into a tirade of justifications. He said, in essence, that it was "just the shock," that she "didn't stand a chance anyway," and—what shook me the most—that it was "for the best." He seriously suggested it was better that she died this way than "dying miserably at home in 2-3 hours." My mouse could have died safely at home with her family, in her nest – that would have been a peaceful death. Instead, she died in unfamiliar surroundings, restrained by three people, in panic and pain. Not for a single second did Dr. Frank Burgmann take responsibility or even consider that his actions might have been the cause of death. Not a single "I'm sorry." A proper subcutaneous injection in small rodents is administered in the neck or flank area with a short, thin needle. The chosen injection site and needle length strongly suggest a serious technical error that directly led to my pet's death. I strongly advise against taking small animals to Dr. Frank Burgmann, unless it's for something easily treatable, like external injuries or mites. The practice itself has helped me a lot in the past – but this doctor cost my mouse its life and showed no empathy or sense of responsibility whatsoever.

I took my dog ​​to the vet today without an appointment, suspecting a tick bite. The vet examined her, but it wasn't a tick, just a small cyst. Afterwards, she wanted to examine my dog, which I refused because that wasn't why I was there. I paid over 40 euros for a quick prick and less than five minutes in the clinic. I find that outrageous. If I had had the option of going to a different vet, I wouldn't have gone there. It's not about being friendly, it's about charging so much money. My conclusion: this vet is one of the most expensive.

Very nice veterinarians. They really care about the well-being of the animals and their owners. Appointments are kept. I've been taking my dog ​​there monthly for several years. He has a disability... They gave me some great ideas to make his life easier. Thank you so much! Unfortunately, he now needs another operation. I have confidence in them!
