Reviews
You know your pet is in the best hands when they don't differentiate between parrots and chickens when it comes to birds. Every life is clearly valued equally there. As an emergency case, I received excellent care, even though I was understandably nervous and, as the pet owner, I must have been incredibly exhausting! A full 5 stars (10 would be appropriate). Top-notch expertise! Nothing was left out, nothing was superfluous! And despite the large number of patients, the organization was superb! A fantastic team! Highly recommended!
I've been seeing Ms. Schindler for many years with countless birds – primarily chickens and pigeons. These were mostly serious cases. Ms. Schindler has always taken plenty of time and has saved the lives of many of my animals – and, in doing so, my own often deeply worried pet owner's soul. Her experience and knowledge are vast! I also appreciate that she openly admits when she doesn't know something. That should be a given, but unfortunately, it isn't. Even more importantly, she doesn't rest on her laurels but continues to learn, engages with new scientific findings, and adapts diagnostics and therapy accordingly, instead of simply doing the same thing year after year. For me, that's a real mark of quality, and unfortunately, that's not something you can take for granted. Ms. Schindler is also realistic and shares her thought processes and considerations. Whenever I have questions – and I always do – she always explains everything clearly and thoroughly. Ms. Schindler is also interested in the owners' own observations and never treats you condescendingly, but always in a friendly, approachable, and respectful manner. The entire practice is welcoming, approachable, pleasantly relaxed, and often humorous – despite the many responsibilities, sometimes challenging situations, and the pressure of a full waiting room. For birds, Ms. Schindler covers practically the entire greater Dresden/Saxon Switzerland/Upper Lusatia area. You won't find another veterinarian with comparable avian expertise here. When I need an emergency appointment – which unfortunately is often the case with birds – the entire practice does EVERYTHING to make it happen as quickly as possible. I can well imagine how much organization and personal balancing act is involved, especially as a mother. I am incredibly grateful to her for so much. I even received replies to emails on weekends. Furthermore, I always felt that my perceptions as an owner were trusted. The many things that Ms. Schindler and her team do behind the scenes, which are never acknowledged or financially compensated, deserve, in my opinion, much more appreciation. I thank Mrs. Schindler and her two adorable Annas for their years of support and great dedication to bird patients, both large and small. :)
Yesterday, I took my Maine Coon cat, Teufel, to this veterinary practice for the first time, and I'm absolutely thrilled. From the moment I arrived, I received a warm welcome and felt very well cared for. The entire team was incredibly kind, empathetic, and competent. They took plenty of time to explain everything clearly and to examine and treat my cat thoroughly. Teufel was already feeling much better shortly afterward. A huge thank you to the entire team for the prompt, loving, and professional care. I wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary practice.
I took my dog there for her first grooming appointment today. What can I say? They work with so much love and care. They took their time, and my dog had plenty of time to get used to everything. We've had some negative experiences at the groomer before, so my little darling is usually a bit anxious and reserved. But from the very first second, she felt welcome. With their great consideration and free cuddles on top, we were absolutely thrilled. We'll definitely be going back and are so grateful that they do their job with so much love and care. Thank you, keep up the great work!
Excellent team! I was at the vet's yesterday with my female cockatiel; she was just a miserable little thing 😔😔. The medication worked very well today; she's eating properly again and is well on her way to becoming the old self I know her to be. A huge thank you to Ms. Sybille Schindler and the team – keep up the great work! I highly recommend you. Sincerely, Sven Heber
