Tierarztpraxis PD Dr. med. vet. Thomas Göbel

I would like to express my satisfaction regarding our experience at the Tierarzt Praxis Dr. med. vet. Thomas Göbel. First and foremost, because my 9-year-old dog China was treated in a kind and affectionate way the two times we attended the praxis (Dr. Blaseg and Dr. Weber). She had a thorough check up, and later, an ultrasound. In both cases the doctors and the assistant were highly professional, knowledgeable and supportive. Second, from the first visit I felt comfortable since all of them, including the lady at the reception, were able and happy to speak in English. This is very reassuring when you come from another country and cannot speak German. So far, we are very pleased and happy to have found this Praxis in which we can rely whenever needed. Therefore, I recommend their services to whom is on the hunt for a good place to take their loved animal-companions.

A caring vet. She even kept my cat a bit longer to make certain she experienced no ill effects from the anesthesia after she was spayed. The office was filled with cats, dogs, and rabbits. She must care about them all with equal affection.

Friendly affordable nice vet, finally found a good one in Berlin! They have been answering all my questions and i got the appointment quickly. Luckily they treat reptiles and have all the info needed, my snake is gonna be ok. Im relived and will definitely come back when needed

This clinic has gone downhill. In the previous location it was good, I don’t know what happened. This summer Dr Goebel recommended an off-label hormonal treatment for my cockatiel which was virtually untested. Surprise surprise, it didn’t work, though he still charged me the €200 and refuses a refund. His staff is incompetent and don’t know how to handle birds. Last time I brought one of my birds in one woman used a vulture glove to grab him and injured his wing, feathers everywhere. Maybe for dogs and cats they’re fine but please take the giant poster of a cockatiel down from your reception area, you know not what you’re doing with these animals.

We had an appointment in another vet but we left there without getting our cat vaccinated because we waited for an hour. Then we decided to go in Thomas Göbel’s Praxis without an appointment, just to try our chances and they were so kind to accept us. My cat is quite aggressive in vets, and the doctors here were so lovely and professional to her. Normally the other vets don’t want to touch her or want us to medicate her before coming, but we really liked their approach. Much appreciated 😻
