Reviews
Dr. Mixdorf is a very friendly and competent veterinarian who acts with both heart and mind. After our old vet retired, we had to find a replacement. Our initial meeting with him wasn't auspicious. When our dog's health deteriorated rapidly, he immediately recognized the symptoms and took appropriate action. With great dedication, he was able to cure her of canine malaria. It's like a miracle for us, and we are eternally grateful. We will definitely continue to use Dr. Mixdorf's services and are happy to have such a veterinarian nearby.
Our pet received the help it needed. A small practice, still under construction, is already visible. A country veterinarian just like you'd imagine. It would be even better with a practice sign ;-). It's best to call ahead, as they also make house calls and visit farms. The access road is a sandy track with many bumps. The area is flat and wooded. If necessary, we would go there again.
Rudi is a fantastic veterinarian who thinks outside the box. He treats his patients with great compassion and explores alternative methods. He's always available if there's a problem, genuinely checks in on the animals' well-being, and always has a helpful tip. There's nothing better than a trustworthy, competent, and reliable veterinarian with a heart.
We were just there with an emergency – thank you so much for your help. The practice is also in a very nice location, so our dog and I were able to stretch our legs outside in a completely stress-free environment.
On November 14th, I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog, Emma. Mr. Mixdorf supported us through this difficult time with exceptional calm, compassion, and great expertise. From the initial explanation to the very last moment, I felt understood, taken seriously, and in good hands. Mr. Mixdorf took a great deal of time, explained everything calmly, and ensured Emma had a dignified and peaceful farewell. It's immediately apparent that he doesn't just practice his profession, but lives it with heart and genuine responsibility. In a situation where you can barely think straight, such empathetic yet highly competent support is invaluable. I am deeply grateful for his considerable time, patience, and compassion. Should I ever decide to get another dog, I know without hesitation: Mr. Mixdorf would be my veterinarian. My animals would be in the best, most loving, and most expert hands with him. I wish Mr. Mixdorf and his family a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful holiday season.
