Great team, great ambulance.
We had to bring our dog in for euthanasia because our vet was on vacation, and he had highly recommended this practice in case of any problems. We received such loving care; the vet was wonderful and explained every step clearly and calmly, giving us the time we needed for this difficult time. Even afterward, they expressed their sympathy and offered us support in coping with the situation. An absolutely fantastic team. We felt completely at ease, even in this difficult time. Thank you so much for everything.
A great practice with an amazing team!
I would like to share my experience with this practice, as the process has deeply affected me. My cat Tyson was brought in in an acute condition (shortness of breath, weakness, collapse). It was clear to me at that moment that he was suffering greatly. I therefore explicitly stated that I did not want any further diagnostic tests and instead requested immediate euthanasia to spare him further suffering. Despite this clearly expressed wish, X-rays were taken before the euthanasia was performed. In that situation, this felt very distressing and incomprehensible to me, as I had the impression that my wishes were not adequately considered. In addition, I found the tone of communication in this situation inappropriate. The attending veterinarian raised his voice towards me, which further exacerbated the already very stressful situation. I understand that medical decisions must be justified. Nevertheless, I would have appreciated more consideration for my assessment, my pet's condition, and respectful and empathetic communication at that moment. Despite this, I would have appreciated more consideration for my assessment, my pet's condition, and more compassionate and empathetic communication. Furthermore, I found the tone of communication inappropriate. The whole situation was very difficult for me emotionally.
