Absolutely top-notch! A very empathetic person who prioritizes animal welfare and minimizing stress for the animal. A calm atmosphere, genuine understanding, and he takes his time. Very friendly and professional. Highly competent yet not arrogant. For me, the perfect veterinarian! Appointments are available at short notice and there are no waiting times because he takes his time and schedules appointments accordingly. Every animal is in good hands there!
I've been taking my various animals to Dr. Kampmann for a very long time (about 30 years). He introduced appointments a few years ago, so there's practically no waiting. Everything is very calm and relaxed. He's a good diagnostician and quite knowledgeable about skin diseases. He's also top-notch when it comes to pharmaceuticals. Now you might think, "Well, that's his job," but I've often experienced things differently. For example, when Dr. Kampmann was on vacation and you had to go somewhere else. So, I and my animals have been very satisfied all these years. He also sends out vaccination reminders, which is convenient for owners of multiple animals. 😃
A very kind and caring veterinarian who, in my opinion, prioritizes the animal's well-being over maximizing the client's profits. He strives to make the treatment as comfortable as possible for the animal and is very gentle. I am very satisfied and will take my second cat to him again if she ever needs treatment. Thank you!
Excellent veterinarian, very helpful, no waiting time, appointments always on time, fair prices, clean and quiet, helps my kitten very well.
Terrible vet. He practically tortured my mother's cat for years. We explained everything to him in detail, but he didn't listen at all and constantly repeated completely nonsensical treatments. He was totally on autopilot. The animal suffered endlessly, partly because he insisted on putting the cat under general anesthesia even for a simple examination, claiming she was aggressive (the cat was completely calm and always frozen with fear). His main goal was to charge for another anesthetic. Anyway, after three years, we had to have the cat euthanized because her suffering became so intense and her body had completely deteriorated. Then it suddenly occurred to him that there was something else he could do. He must have realized that you can't make money off a dead cat. Given her now hopeless condition, we decided to end her suffering. My mother wanted to hold her in her arms for one last minute, but the vet snapped at her, saying, "The cat's already dead, give her up." Tears streaming down her face, my mother was practically chased out of the examination room and almost out of the practice altogether. Almost... because he always paid first when it came to collecting money, Mr. Kampmann was always on the ball. But both personally and professionally, he was simply bottom of the barrel.
