A very competent, friendly, and accommodating veterinarian who clearly cares about the well-being of animals. She takes the time to get to know the animal and explain all the procedures. During my cat's spaying, unexpected complications arose, making the procedure more lengthy and difficult. Thanks to Ms. von Harlessen's expert care, she recovered wonderfully and was quickly back on her feet. The prices are very fair; we weren't charged anything unnecessary, unlike what I've experienced with other veterinarians. I wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary practice and will gladly return for my cat's dental work and any future issues.

Ms. Harlessem seemed very distant and lacking in empathy in person. Her communication felt more matter-of-fact and perfunctory than warm and approachable. Especially in a veterinary practice, the situation can be emotionally stressful for both animal and owner, so a sensitive approach is particularly important to me. This certainly varies from person to person, but for me personally, it wasn't the right fit, and I didn't feel comfortable there. For this reason, I would not recommend this practice.

Dr. Harlessem is a very friendly and empathetic veterinarian. You feel comfortable as soon as you enter her practice, and talking to her immediately puts you at ease. It's clear that she genuinely cares about the details and the well-being of your pet. She takes her time, listens carefully, and gives honest advice about what makes sense and what doesn't. She performed two dental surgeries on my cat, and both procedures were very successful. Since then, my cat has been doing much better—he's eating well again, playing, and is active. He's finally free of the pain he suffered from for so long. What was particularly important to me was that his previous veterinarian always said he had no problems. Dr. Harlessem, on the other hand, clearly identified the dental issues and treated them correctly. I am very grateful to her and wholeheartedly recommend her.
