Dr. Harlessem is a very friendly and empathetic veterinarian. You feel comfortable as soon as you enter her practice, and talking to her immediately puts you at ease. It's clear that she genuinely cares about the details and the well-being of your pet. She takes her time, listens carefully, and gives honest advice about what makes sense and what doesn't. She performed two dental surgeries on my cat, and both procedures were very successful. Since then, my cat has been doing much better—he's eating well again, playing, and is active. He's finally free of the pain he suffered from for so long. What was particularly important to me was that his previous veterinarian always said he had no problems. Dr. Harlessem, on the other hand, clearly identified the dental issues and treated them correctly. I am very grateful to her and wholeheartedly recommend her.

I'm especially grateful for the home visits she was able to make and for caring for two of my very anxious cats. Had I lived in Siegen longer, I would have remained her client until the end. We were recommended Ms. Harlessem and are very happy that she has cared for us over the past few months, especially at home. Our dog, Grandpa Sid, unfortunately had to be put down on September 12th. Thanks to Ms. Harlessem, he was able to go peacefully outside in his meadow. She has a very calm manner and made it very easy for him, without any venous access and, above all, without any fear. Thank you for making this difficult step so pleasant for us, given the circumstances. We know that Sid is better now and has passed away peacefully. I can only recommend her 100%.

Ms. Harlessem seemed very distant and lacking in empathy in person. Her communication felt more matter-of-fact and perfunctory than warm and approachable. Especially in a veterinary practice, the situation can be emotionally stressful for both animal and owner, so a sensitive approach is particularly important to me. This certainly varies from person to person, but for me personally, it wasn't the right fit, and I didn't feel comfortable there. For this reason, I would not recommend this practice.
