Reviews
Even though our cat grandfather is no longer with us, we would recommend the practice and especially Dr. Dinges again and again. He did his best to save our tomcat, but due to his age and various illnesses, we had to say goodbye to our beloved pet. Dr. Dinges accompanied us lovingly and warmly throughout this process. We were fully informed beforehand about every step of the process, and even our young son was included in a child-friendly way. Even though it was a sad experience for our family, we felt very well cared for and comforted. Our grief was fully taken into account; for example, a small memorial candle was lit in the practice for our tomcat. We were also able to simply go home for a while and received the bill in the mail a few days later. After about three weeks, the practice even sent a sympathy card. This moved us to tears and is certainly not something we can take for granted.
This morning around 8 a.m., I brought my rabbit to this veterinary practice as an acute emergency case (lethargic, not eating – life-threatening for rabbits). I was immediately told to expect a long wait. Despite repeatedly emphasizing that it was an emergency, nothing happened initially. After an emergency dog arrived, more and more animals with regular appointments (vaccinations, nail trimming) were seen, apparently being prioritized. After 45 minutes without any response, I was told upon inquiry that the appointments had to be scheduled first. For me, this approach in an emergency is completely incomprehensible and negligent. I seriously wonder what would have happened if my rabbit had died there without treatment. I finally left the practice and went to my usual veterinary clinic, where I was seen immediately. Unfortunately, very disappointing – especially in emergencies, I would have expected significantly more competence and communication. The one star is only there so I can review the practice; otherwise, I wouldn't have given any stars at all.
A few weeks ago, I urgently needed an appointment for my Chihuahua on a Friday because my usual vet was closed that day. We were greeted very warmly and treated in a very relaxed manner. They even gave us some great tips for managing until Monday. I was very relieved and happy after the appointment. Thank you :)
