I should really give zero stars. What we experienced there was not only absolutely appalling, but also traumatic. They lied about treatments they supposedly performed and told us we should have our cat euthanized. My mother wanted to wait for me, though, because he wouldn't leave without me. After begging several times, we were finally allowed to pick him up in the middle of the night. The money is secondary to me, but the fact that my cat came out of there with a bite wound he didn't have before, which we had to treat with Nekrolyt ointment, is absolutely horrific. I don't think I need to mention that he didn't live much longer after that visit. I called twice, asking Dr. Scholz to call me back so he could explain. Of course, I never heard from him. To this day, I still have no idea what actually happened to my beloved cat there. Dr. Scholz has a bad reputation among all veterinarians, and they know that it's almost impossible to get your pet back alive from there.

Sunday emergency vet visit with my dog. Suspected shoulder injury: his leg is immobile. After the vet called back, I drove to Hassel full of anticipation. When the vet asked when I would arrive, I said 30 minutes. At the practice, the assistant filled out a medical history form and how I wanted to pay – very important!!! After waiting 40 minutes in an empty practice, my dog ​​was visibly in pain and suffering, and no vet had come! This vet should seriously reconsider his profession, because animals suffer silently. Outrageous!

Zero stars, more like. I was referred to this vet because of an acute emergency with my cat, who was barely coping due to the extreme heat. I was completely overwhelmed at the time and simply hoped to get a quick assessment or some advice. Instead, I was treated in a condescending and unfriendly tone from the very beginning. Instead of addressing my questions, I received curt answers and had to listen to him complaining that he was also hot and that he was working all day (as if no one else had to). That may be true, but when you're on call for emergencies, you shouldn't make people feel like they're just bothering you and making the situation worse. What I found particularly awful was that I wasn't taken seriously at all. When I said that I would continue to monitor my cat's condition before going to see him, I was told in a provocative tone that I should either come now or not at all. I don't understand how something like this is supposed to help people; it just put me under even more pressure and made me even more insecure. To be honest, after the phone call, I felt worse than before. I was extremely unsettled. Especially in an emergency, you expect at least a minimum level of empathy, compassion, and respectful treatment. For me, it was an extremely stressful situation. Anyone looking for a veterinarian who listens, takes people in exceptional circumstances seriously, and possesses even a spark of humanity is, in my opinion, barking up the wrong tree here. Someone has clearly chosen the wrong profession.

This practice is a disaster! If I could give negative stars, I would. They tried to sell me treatments that were completely unnecessary and even dangerous for my pet, all just to inflate the price. It's unbelievable. And in the end, I still paid six times the normal amount for the most minimal treatment. Never again!

I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, I'd give negative stars if I could. I don't want to go into too much detail, but anyway, we just went to our vet, and he determined that our pet's wound hadn't changed at all. It was properly treated with local anesthesia, stitched up, and no general anesthesia for a 17-year-old animal. Ugh. And let's not even talk about the money we had to pay... I'll definitely be avoiding them again.
