Reviews
We thank the team at the Nossen Animal Health Center (TGZ Nossen) from the bottom of our hearts for their quick and competent help, especially Dr. Lantzsch and veterinary surgeon Ms. Pitnerova. Without their dedication, our little princess Stella would surely have died...simply THANK YOU ❤️ We contacted the Nossen Animal Health Center (TGZ Nossen) on a Sunday via their emergency number because our little cat was just listlessly faint, not eating or drinking anything. (She had previously been "treated" for almost 1 1/2 weeks at a practice in Weinböhla for symptoms of feline herpesvirus, where 3(!) veterinarians only treated her half-heartedly during 5 appointments, without a proper examination, diagnosis, or anything similar. They simply drugged her with random medications based on mere suspicion, even though they saw that she still wasn't eating or drinking, was losing weight rapidly, and had sores all over her mouth and nose. No IV fluids, swabs, or anything like that were taken. We were at the practice on Saturday, and they insisted she be treated...) She received an IV, and the vet even said she wasn't dehydrated, etc. (although she was clearly suffering). Dr. Lantzsch saw us immediately (at 11:30 pm!), but didn't give us much hope at first: Miez was completely dehydrated, and kidney failure was suspected. :( She was treated and cared for immediately. Luckily, the worst was ruled out the next day. Over the following days, our darling was thoroughly tested for everything imaginable, a special medication was prescribed, and after four days of comprehensive inpatient care, we were able to bring our sweetheart home. She already looked much better. We were provided with medication, and the little one fought like her larger feline relatives :) and made it! ❤️ We were also immediately invited to follow-up appointments, and the assistance was professional. The way they treated both people and animals was very empathetic; they even checked in afterward to see how Miez was doing. We can only repeat ourselves: THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING ❤️ and we absolutely recommend them 🙏🏻 Attached are a few pictures of when the kitty was back home and a current one (she's eating well again, and is even allowed to eat in bed 🤭)...she says thank you too 🫶🏻🥰
Five stars aren't enough for this review. *****+ We had to rush to this veterinary clinic Friday night because of an intestinal torsion combined with gas colic. For the first time in my horse-loving days, I was truly terrified for one of my animals. But what awaited me was simply wonderful. We were greeted before we'd even properly parked the trailer, and then everything happened incredibly fast. They were very calm and thoughtful, always prioritizing the horse and the owner with understanding. What these people accomplished that night is simply unbelievable, even when you're sitting at home, practically going crazy with worry. Let them do their job, because that's the only way they can help. Being there just gets in the way anyway. Thankfully, surgery wasn't necessary, and our Erwin was able to get the help he needs and is feeling better now. Thank you so much, dear team, thank you, ladies of the night! 🫶🏻 If it's ever truly necessary, I'll only go to your clinic. 🙋♀️ All the best to you. Keep up the great work! Whatever it takes, I'll only go to your clinic. 🙋♀️ Thanks from Erwin's team 🤍
A huge thank you to all the staff at this practice who helped us with our little Bruno yesterday in an emergency. Initially, we were disappointed that it was the only emergency clinic open in the entire county. But we're so glad we made the trip! The doctors were very kind, and the information they provided about our furry friend's condition was excellent! Our Bruno was in very good hands!
My dog's blood work strongly suggested she had pancreatitis. On the urgent advice of my regular vet, an ultrasound was performed in Nossen. This revealed gastritis as well. I am grateful for the excellent diagnostics and friendly treatment. After 30 years of owning and working with dogs, I am happy that my dogs are in good hands there.
Five stars aren't enough to describe the loving and competent care my cat Hermann received. From diagnosis to surgery, we encountered a high level of expertise, as well as a great deal of love and empathy for the animal. My special thanks go to veterinarian Ms. Pitnerova and veterinarian Ms. Milan; they are both a great asset to the clinic. We wholeheartedly recommend them. Thank you again for your help. Hermann and family
