Today was my first time there because I had to use the holiday emergency service due to a problem with my dog. I was seen immediately and received excellent help. Thank you so much!
This veterinarian should have her license revoked. She made false diagnoses from the very beginning to make money. Description: My sister's 16-year-old dog suddenly collapsed at home (December 8, 2025), and we immediately called the emergency vet. In this case, it was Dr. Erdmann. First diagnosis: It was just her circulatory system, and she was given medication for her heart, bladder, etc. Day 2: She wasn't any better, so she received an injection, apparently containing antibiotics. I told the vet that her abdomen felt hard, and she palpated it and said, "No, it's perfectly normal and soft." Day 3: She had a fever (so no so-called circulatory collapse at that age). She had an X-ray and an ultrasound. Lo and behold, suddenly her abdomen was hard after all. The following was determined: Her heart is enlarged, and her stomach and liver are full of tumors. My sister also mentioned that the last veterinarian had said the spleen was swollen. However, she didn't follow up on this and continued to diagnose based on assumptions. My sister came almost daily so her dog could receive an injection, which had no effect in this case because she had made incorrect diagnoses from the beginning. She claimed the dog wasn't in pain and that the tumors weren't bleeding. A basic blood test and two comprehensive blood tests were performed, and she said the dog had almost no red blood cells left. Then came her next theory: The dog might be infested with a parasite (a tick from the summer). However, she couldn't detect it in the blood. She then prescribed an antibiotic for a parasite that, according to her, was undetectable, or if detectable at all, only in the case of a recent infection. She also said that the dog could only be saved with a blood transfusion, but that it would have to be done in Vienna, and she didn't think the dog was up to it at her age. My sister found all of this strange, as the dog's condition worsened despite all the advice and medication (costing several hundred euros). So she went to a second veterinarian for a second opinion, as she couldn't let her dog suffer any longer. Today, December 29, 2025, she went there, had an X-ray taken, and the vet immediately saw that the dog had a splenic tumor that was bleeding, which was causing her to have no red blood cells. She's now having surgery, knowing that she'll either pass away peacefully or make it. She let this animal suffer and is squeezing every last penny out of this poor creature. These are our experiences, and you can clearly see that we weren't the only ones.
Dr. Erdmann is a wonderful veterinarian; she provided us with excellent support during our loss of our dog. The veterinary clinic is a haven for animals, even though we lost our dog there. Thank you so much for everything; we are deeply grieving.
Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience at the emergency vet clinic. We had to bring our cat in because she had broken her leg – a real emergency. Unfortunately, this was the only emergency clinic, yet we were treated very rudely. Our pet's condition was barely acknowledged; we felt like they didn't care at all. Instead of a proper examination or treatment, we were simply given an injection and sent home. We then went to a different veterinarian, where our cat received immediate and serious attention. We also heard from acquaintances that a horse had a similarly bad experience at this clinic. We absolutely cannot recommend this practice, even in an emergency. In such a situation, you expect help, empathy, and professional care – unfortunately, this was not the case here. Go somewhere else, even in an emergency.
Unfortunately, I have to give one star; it really deserves zero! My kitten was very ill. I checked who was on emergency duty, and unfortunately, it was this clinic! I called ten times, was put on hold, and then couldn't get through anymore! It didn't end well for my cat 😭😭😭 I will be filing a complaint with the veterinary association, and I advise everyone who has experienced something similar to do the same! This is outrageous! Please remove yourself from the emergency service list if you clearly have no interest in helping animals at night! This isn't a vet with a heart; they're only in it for the money!
