An incredibly wonderful and empathetic veterinarian! From the very beginning, we felt well cared for and, above all, understood. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed! All our questions were answered, and our pet received excellent care. We highly recommend Dr. Wassif and her team!
An incredibly kind vet! My dog Senta is usually terrified of strangers, but not with her. She was very empathetic and gentle, took her time, and provided excellent treatment. Without her quick action, my darling would probably not be alive today. Thank you so much!!!
On behalf of our two furry friends, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Wassif. She helped our guinea pig and our small dog, who was struggling with a fracture, so wonderfully in such a short time. We would go back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend her! Please keep up the great work, and we wish you all the best! 🍀
5 stars are still not enough! Had to shorten the review. So, in short: Mylo had a blood test done at the beginning of September (by another vet) because he was really ill. The blood test showed a 20-30-fold increase in his thyroid, liver, and kidney values. I was advised to go to the Asterlagen Animal Clinic (in Duisburg) immediately for an abdominal ultrasound, as tumors in the liver and kidneys were suspected. Mylo had been known to be a heart patient in Asterlagen for years (medications were adjusted there through regular cardiac ultrasounds). The abdominal ultrasound revealed that his liver was extremely spotty (followed by an X-ray of his lungs and body). Result: no tumors. I was recommended IV therapy. So I had to leave Mylo there for at least 2 days. I wasn't even given the opportunity to say goodbye to him, which was very upsetting. After almost 48 hours, I received a call saying the therapy wasn't producing any results. Fortunately, I met Dr. Wassif and her team afterward because I realized that conventional medicine (all that chemical stuff) damages the organs even more and is also responsible for this situation. When Dr. Wassif examined Mylo for the first time, Mylo was unresponsive, dehydrated, weak, and his eyes and gums were yellow (extremely yellow). Ms. Wassif and her team explained to me in a compassionate way (thumbs up) what the situation looked like and what options we had. I immediately agreed to phytotherapy. The team immediately began intensive treatment and therapy. To this day, Mylo required daily infusion therapy as well as special medications, "purely herbal medicines" (which require injections). We were there every day to administer the infusions. This allowed me to get to know the entire team better. So, first of all, my deepest thanks go to the entire team! You are true angels (rescuers, or rather, people with a big heart and great sensitivity for animals and humans). I wish you all the best and will forever be in your debt)!!! In the last 7 weeks, we also had to overcome some obstacles, and you gave us the strength to overcome these problems. After 3 weeks of intensive treatment, we checked his liver and kidney values again. The therapy showed success, reducing the values by 3/4. Yes, 3/4!!! Hope grew and confidence was strengthened even more, thanks to your support. Another 2 weeks later, the values dropped even further (almost to normal), and Nylo returned to life. Every day, he showed me more and more of his characteristic traits (which I now appreciate even more). Today we had his values checked again, and the miracle was perfected. His values are excellent And I'm speechless. It's hard for me to only give you 5 stars. You fought and prayed with us, and for that, you deserve all the stars (in this world). Mylo and I will love and be grateful to you forever. At the "Am Förderturm" animal clinic, the best is done for an animal. Be it conventional medicine or naturopathy. I regret not having met you sooner, because we would have been spared a lot of suffering and pain (due to faulty treatments). Everyone who reads this review should understand or feel what was accomplished here. My recommendation to everyone: "Listen to your heart and mind before it's too late." Yes, some beloved animals cannot be saved because it is too late. But find a veterinary clinic like the one run by Dr. Wassif. She is an angel (a master with excellent knowledge) for animals and humans, and her team does outstanding work. I will never go to another veterinarian again, believe in them, and certainly not trust them!!! I wish you all the best for the future!!! It starts with this clinic!!!
