I participated in the first aid course for dogs at the Gelnhausen Animal Center and was truly impressed. It was a fantastic event, and you could even bring your own dog. The course was divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Although the free course was completely booked and all participants were there with their dogs, the atmosphere was consistently calm and pleasant. It wasn't loud or hectic at all—really great. The veterinarian explained everything clearly and kindly, and she took the time to answer every question. We felt well cared for and learned a great deal. Overall, it was a very valuable, informative, and professionally conducted event. A big thank you to the Gelnhausen Animal Center for this wonderful initiative. A truly successful event that I can wholeheartedly recommend.

We've been coming here with our dog since day one, as has my whole family with their pets, and we're all completely satisfied. They really take their time here and give excellent advice. All the staff are incredibly friendly and so loving towards the animals. Highly recommended! 🐶🫶🏼

I took my 13-year-old cat to this clinic for an ultrasound, as my vet doesn't have the necessary equipment. Several large bladder stones, crystals, and grit were found, and an X-ray was also taken. Afterward, I was strongly advised to have an expensive operation and given the impression that he would be almost completely healthy again afterward. Subsequently, I learned from my long-time vet and my own research that even after surgery, problems, follow-up appointments, and the formation of new stones are still possible. I felt I wasn't adequately informed about this at the clinic. However, what I found particularly disappointing was the way Dr. Gisela Niebch treated me. I felt she neither took me seriously nor treated me with empathy. My concerns regarding my cat's age, condition, and quality of life were barely considered. Instead, I felt judged for even considering euthanasia. Furthermore, I was told that no other vet would euthanize my cat in his condition. After consulting with my vet, we decided, however, not to let him suffer any longer. Tragically, he died during the preliminary anesthesia, which showed how weak he already was. Medically, the examinations may have been correct – but on a personal level, I unfortunately didn't feel well cared for at all.

We came with our rabbit on a Sunday. The atmosphere was very professional and calm – from the initial phone call to the treatment itself. Despite being very busy, everything was organized and relaxed; we were seen promptly and didn't have to wait. The veterinarians took their time, gave us thorough advice, and seemed very competent. We felt completely at ease with our rabbit. Thank you so much!
