I just took our rabbit to the clinic and I was very pleased. Dr. Steffen was very friendly and took plenty of time. He handled the animal calmly and gently, and answered every question thoroughly. Thank you so much!

Since someone tried to have my original one-star review (without text) deleted, I'm adding my detailed experience with this veterinary clinic here: We were clients of this clinic for our cats over an extended period. The following experience was the deciding factor in my negative review. One of our cats didn't eat for several days. We therefore took him to this clinic multiple times. As part of the treatments, he stayed overnight, including anesthesia, X-rays, and a tracheoscopy (according to the invoice). Despite these extensive examinations, we weren't given a concrete diagnosis the following day. When we picked him up, our cat was extremely dirty (covered in feces and urine), as was his carrier, so we had to bathe him at home. In addition, we were told, in essence, that he had "nothing wrong" and only "something wrong with his head." —> The vet's exact words: "He's got a screw loose, at most." Since his condition continued to worsen and he still wasn't eating (which, as is well known, can quickly become life-threatening for cats), we sought help from a different emergency veterinary clinic a few days later. There, he was immediately diagnosed with gastritis. After an injection and medication, our cat started eating again that same evening. This made it clear that there was indeed a physical cause and not—as previously suggested—a purely psychological or "non-existent" problem. This experience was very stressful for us, both emotionally and financially, and has severely damaged our trust in this veterinary clinic.

I've been going there with our dogs for over 16 years. Successful surgeries, excellent advice, and highly qualified expertise! The Steffen family is there for both animals and people.

Reviews are unfortunately being deleted here. So, once again: The 4.8 out of 5 stars are far from deserved. One star would be too much! In my opinion, this practice should be shut down. Zero empathy! Negligence. And if there were no clinic at all, I would never set foot in this one again. In an emergency, I would rather drive two hours than entrust my pet to someone here again. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! It cost my dog his life.
