Reviews
I went here over the weekend in an emergency case where my local vet advices to go to a clinic and this was the closest open clinic for me. I’ve seen other reviews about it being super expensive and yes it was very expensive but honestly, I don’t know how much this treatment usually would cost with overnight stays and care, as I’ve never had this situation before in Germany. So I can’t comment on that My experience here was very good. They provided very clear information before about what would happen and what would likely be the costs which was quite aligned with what they told me it would be in the end, even though there was an extra cost my cat had taken out a claw that he had damaged earlier this week while being treated here for urinary issues. They also gave me regular updates with anything that might be important and I got to pick him up a bit sooner than I expected which is great. Obviously my cat absolutely didn’t like staying in a clinic but what cat would enjoy that? He came back and the recovery is going splendid so I’m very happy overall with the care for my cat and how it’s going now.
I will never go here again. I was looking for help for one my older rats, who was clearly at the end stage of her life. She has a complicated history and has been treated for respiratory issues/lung issues. I wanted to have a chance to put her to sleep before she suffered. Instead, they put her on oxygen which after an hour made zero difference, but insisted she stay overnight even though they were also unsure if she would pull through. Even if she miraculously did a 180 overnight, what would the next days be like? An animal deserves quality of life, not just to exist. The way that doctor spoke to me as if I had zero experience with rats and didn’t know what I was talking about because I could not name all medications she’s had because it was late and I was in a panic. In fact, I have a lot of experience and I volunteer at a rescue specifically for rats. I am sure they only want to make money and could care or less that the poor rat was suffering. Never again.
I have been taking my cat to Ugur Can Bozkir for 4 years now. Since he started working here, this veterinary clinic will be my choice from now on. Today was my first visit. They greeted me and treated us patiently, while providing English service at the entrance. I also consider as an emergency option as they are open until 00:00, which is another positive side of the clinic. I can't speak highly enough of Mr. Bozkir, and I trust his decision of working in this clinic, which my first visit was a great pleasure.
My cat had stitches and control appointments for 2 weeks. Everything went well, everyone was nice. They made sure that my cat was relaxed and comfortable. They are also reachable in case of emergency by phone which was great considering I panicked at every stage of aftercare. I have no negative word to say about the clinic.
I'm so grateful to the staff here for all the kindness and support they showed me, and to the little rabbit that had to be put to sleep. Dealing with an emergency illness of a pet that was not mine was very upsetting, and they were so wonderful here. Vielen vielen Dank. xXx
