Reviews
It's best to take your rabbit to a specialized veterinary practice. The rabbit had a swollen cheek and/or dental problems. Its teeth were filed down under anesthesia. At the follow-up appointment, everything was said to be fine. Later that same week, the rabbit was back in its enclosure with a swollen cheek. So, it was back to Dr. Falko Pötzsch's veterinary practice in Eilenburg. Again, the teeth had to be filed down and/or shortened. Since the rabbit continued to be unwell and, most importantly, couldn't eat properly, causing it to lose weight, we did some research. Two veterinarians specializing in rabbits confirmed that such dental treatment in rabbits always begins with diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT scan) because a large part of the tooth and the underlying problem are not visible. This approach aligns with our online research. Now the rabbit is being treated elsewhere, and they are trying to salvage what they can. Conclusion: Dr. Falko Pötzsch in Eilenburg caused the rabbit a great deal of unnecessary suffering and pain, and cost us hundreds of euros.
Dr. Poetsch operated on our dog Teddy; it was a very difficult operation for soft tissue cancer on his paw. But he pulled it off without complications. Dr. Poetsch is very friendly, competent, and honest. A big thank you and much praise also goes to his entire team; they work hand in hand, are friendly, courteous, simply wonderful. Thank you! Our Teddy is already 15 years old, but he would only go to him, no matter what animal it is. Thank you so much for everything. Sincerely, Claudia Kurt and Teddy Schmid
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the selfless help of Dr. Pötzsch and his team. For a week, he tried to restore the health of an injured cat (named Ten Past Ten) that we brought to him. Despite surgery, he couldn't save him. I am nevertheless very grateful that everything possible was done to nurse him back to health. Sadly, the kitten himself decided to cross the Rainbow Bridge. We are still very sad about it, but also comforted that all possible treatment options were exhausted. Sometimes you are powerless against fate. Thank you, Dr. Pötzsch, and the entire team.
