A competent veterinarian, he always knew what to do and has a lot of experience. In the most difficult of times, he even came to my home and put my dog ​​to sleep. I can highly recommend him.

I took my senior dog to the vet because of an emergency. He was suffering from severe pain on a Saturday evening. Mr. Völz was on call at the time. He gave my dog ​​IV fluids for the pain and advised me to consider euthanasia soon. The IV lasted until the next day (Sunday). I was struggling with the words about euthanasia. It was all very difficult for me, especially since Mr. Völz wasn't my regular vet. I contacted him and asked if he would make a house call to euthanize my dog. He set off. During that time, I was torn, as it was already very late and I didn't know what I would have done afterward. So I texted Mr. Völz on WhatsApp to ask if another IV was possible instead of euthanasia. My mother called Mr. Völz for me, as I hadn't received a reply and I was emotionally very fragile due to the situation. Mr. Völz then behaved very unprofessionally. With the dismissive remark that he had nothing better to do, he ended the call. He didn't come for the house call. However, some time later, he billed me in full for the service. When I objected and inquired, Mr. Völz attempted to explain over the phone why he had charged that amount. This call also seemed unprofessional, as he described it as the "unfortunate fate" of being on call for emergency services, where he supposedly has to be available at all times and therefore can't do anything else. Since no one always considers everything in life fair, and he also charges a flat fee for emergency services, I ended the conversation and paid the bill to put the matter to rest. I wouldn't go back to that vet next time.

We are a family with many pets, and Mr. Völs is always there for our four-legged friends in an emergency. We are so lucky to have found such a great veterinarian.
